Lovely views and pitch had a fire pit area

What a wonderful site. Small but perfectly formed. Pitches are around a large field so plenty of room for children to run. Shower and toilet facilities are extremely well maintained and clean. The owners are very nice and happy to help. Would definitely stop again. This is a beautiful part of the country with lots to see close by. Ashburnham Place was beautiful but sadly no dogs so we only had a brief visit. Went to Battle for lunch, lovely quaint town followed by a trip to the beach at Eastbourne. Would highly recommend.

Very nice , quiet and clean site. Shower, washing up bench and toilets clean all the time. Fire pits and logs available. All very good, recommending for nature and quiet lovers. Almost forgot very nice ovner Nikky. Thanks

We had a woodland pitch which had its own firepit. It was a quiet and peaceful which was what we like. Plenty of space, a relaxed check in, logs available for the fire.
Spent 2 nights and had a good nights sleep both times. The owner popped over and said we can leave late on the Sunday as there was no Monday booking.
The toilets were good, clean and plenty of supplies. The shower was very nice with lots of space to get undressed and dressed.
Had a nice walk from the campsite and there are lots of footpaths to explore and some pubs to find.

When we went it was quite quiet with not many campers so it wasn't an issue for our stay, but there is only one shower so it could get busy.
It wouldn't put me off going again though!

Large grass areas, clean facilities, outdoor washing sink, not over crowded, good distance from amenities.

Spent a weekend at this fabulous site and can't wait to come back. A chilled, peaceful, relaxed site where you can relax surrounded by nature. Great walks in the surrounding area. The pitches are spacious, providing a sense of privacy. We stayed in an electric hook-up with easy access to the facilities. The toilets, shower and wash-up area were fantastic and spotless, cleaned daily by Nikki.
Firepits and BBQ's can be hired and logs can be purchased if you don't bring your own.
All in all a great big 10/10, and I'll be back next year.

This site is a real gem. We stayed on one of 6 electric grass pitches next to the shower and toilets. The facilities are beautifully kept and clean. The pitches are well spaced out so you have a real sense of privacy. The shower is one of the best I have used on a camp site and we did not have to queue at all. Nikki and her husband are lovely, so helpful and friendly. We hired a BBQ and Firepit and purchased logs and fire lighters from Nikki, all delivered to our pitch and great value for money. The site was so quiet and peaceful, lovely to awake to birds and farm animals and go to bed under a beautiful starlit sky. A fantastic base, we went to Eastbourne, Pevensy Bay, Bexhill beaches….all clean and great for swimming. We visited Batemans, Scotney castle, Bodiam Castle and Nymans (National Trust) all within easy reach. Great food, Drinks and friendly service at The Bulls Head - highly recommended!! Did not want to go home and we We will definitely be back.
