Liked: we stayed at the lodge we had a big group of friends in caravans and tents ,as we dont camp the lodges are a excellent choice for us .this is the second yr we have stayed for a 3 day break thoroughly enjoyed it .

Liked: Nice spacious site, very green and pretty. Very friendly owners. Amazing food in Hubbles. Relaxed site.
Disliked: In the toilet block near us there was only one working toilet with a working lock.

Liked: Pitch near the lake. Excellent cafe and bar. Clean toilet and shower block
Disliked: Some noisy holiday makers leaving lots of rubbish around after late night parties instead of tidying up before bed
Thank you for your review. We do ask all holiday makers to respect the rules and other guests but sometimes they are disrespectful, next time please let us know so we can sort it out whilst onsite. We hope it hasn't put you off coming back again.

Disliked: Our fishing pegs had been over booked so we didn’t actually start fishing until the afternoon
Thanks for the feedback, we are currently in talks with swim booker as this has happened a couple of times now. If you had come to speak to a member off staff we would have done our best to sort this out for you or even refund your fishing money but if you don't tell us until after the event then we re none the wiser.

Liked: Great cabins and staff were super friendly.
Would highly recommend to others.Disliked: Couple of small issues.
Got water kept switching off meaning have to reset boiler twice.
Paint just starting to peel off hot tub step meaning black flakes of paint getting into water by our feet transporting it in there.

Liked: The space, the quietness of the site most of the time, the friendliness of all staff. Electric is pay as you go and can be easily topped up. You get back what you don’t spend when you check out. My tent pitch was flat, the ground has good drainage and the pegs went in easily. I like that check in is from 1pm and check out is 12 noon - the early check in really makes you feel like you’ve settled before it’s time to cook dinner. The cafe on site was very popular and there is a bar too which was also busy. The water was lovey and hot in the taps, showers and wash up area. The staff work hard all hours to keep the site clean and tidy.
Disliked: Not dislikes as such but the new shower block could do with a couple of additions such as a full length mirror or mirrors you can’t get close to for those that might want to do makeup etc. I could only find one small bin by the wash up area and one water tap there too. Maybe some more bins and water points sited around would be good.
