Liked: Clean site, locked gates, fairly level grass pitches, well stocked information hut, very friendly welcome from host. Excellent location for regular buses into York (via Designer Outlet) and Selby (Abbey). Will return if in this area again.
Disliked: Quite a bit of road noise, may bother lighter sleepers, but after a full day in York we were too tired to notice!

Liked: Gina was very welcoming and gave us lots of information. Basic site with a short drive to York or P&R close by.
Disliked: Near very busy road so limited access for dog walk
Delighted you would recommend us to friends and stay again. Access to the nearest public right of way, which is a fabulous place to walk the dogs (or just your humans) through the countryside is a two minute walk from the site. There is ma nice option to reward yourselves with a refreshing drink at the local pubs in Fulford if you take the route towards York - around a 40 minute stroll.... maybe jump on the bus back from one of the bus stops outside the pubs if you don't fancy the walk - dogs are also welcome on the bus :) Kind regards Gina and Gary

Liked: Easy to find, nice big pitch, very peaceful. Owner friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Went with my little grandson and felt like we had to keep very quiet all the time as other guests all adults. So maybe not ideal with small children.

Liked: Really large pitches, information hut giving everything you could need to know regarding the area and services. Perfect place to go and not need to drive at all. Local Arriva buses in and out of York from the bus stop which is a 3 minute walk from the site. All in all a great place to stay.

Liked: From point of contact up to arriving at site the lady couldn’t be more helpful with advice and information regarding bus timetables places to eat and great walks for our 2 dogs no shower block but that didn’t bother us as we have our own highly recommended this site
