Liked: Lots of space, clean facilities and good showers. Lovely location, I've stayed in quite a few campsites and this is definitely one of the best.
Disliked: Nothing it genuinely was a great place to stay.
Beautiful spacious site. Facilities first class. Very chilled.

Liked: Quiet, relaxing camp site set in a lovely location with well kept and very clean facilities. Also good value. No electric hook ups but makes for a quieter time. Bonus: the ground is perfect for pushing in the tent pegs.
Disliked: Paying £1 for a shower is fine but 3mins for a shower is too short
Thanks for the lovely comments, we did ask quite a few campers about the timings for the showers and 3 mins was about average to complete the necessities .. 😉

Liked: Lovely and clean site, beautiful location with good toilets, a space to wash up, ice pack freezing (which was great!) and lovely to be able to rent a fire pit to add to my stay.
As a solo female traveller I felt very safe camping there for 2 nights

Liked: Lovely tranquil location and friendly owners. Toilet and shower block very clean. Good value as reduced rate for solo traveller. Wooden tables by most pitches .

Liked: Quiet space and easy to find. Nice hosts and clean facilities. Only a short drive go forest of Dean, and very close to a pub with delicious pub food! (Rising sun)
Disliked: Showers are an additional cost (£1 for a token, lasting around 3 minutes). There are 3 showers which wasn't a problem as the site was quiet, but imagine as its a large site there could be cues if its busy?
Thanks for the review.. we are lucky to have a couple of fabulous local pubs .. as for the showers we only allow 24 units on site so we are never that full.. 😊

Liked: Lovely place, really clean and quiet.
Disliked: Showers didn't last very long and felt quite expensive (£1 for about 3 minutes) it ended when I was covered in soap.
Glad you liked the site, sadly as the price of electricity has rocketed for us we had to put the price up for showers… first time in 10 years though 😊
