Chinook Bend Resort and Marina

This was our 2nd trip to the Chinook Bend Resort and Marina. My husband and I stayed for 3 days. We experienced a lot of rain the 1st day but it was beautiful! We got a spot right down by the river, we had a picnic table, and our own fire pit. You cannot find a better view for this deal! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have a small retail shop where you can get on the internet, play some pool, or just watch a little TV.

We had to leave early and the resort gave us a credit towards our next stay! Highly recommended place for couples and families. Quiet and beautiful.

Beautiful area with 360° view of mountains. River front sites are great, but somewhat narrow (However, this allows more River front sites. You can fish right off the boat docks in the Siletz River if a boat is not available. Very nice staff. Very helpful. The wifi, only available at the office/lounge, and is extremely slow due to the distance to fiber optics. If you need fast wifi, you can find it at coffee shop, etc. in Lincoln City (about 4 miles away).

Excellent place to stay when fishing on the Siletz River, and costal activities.

Some sites had standing water after a rain storm; but standing water was not very deep.

Location, Location, Location, price, friendliness.

Toilets weren't always that clean.

Such a beautiful, open area with lots of space to explore. Friendly people.

Not enough privacy

We loved our camp site! It came equipped with a fire pit and an area large enough for our tent, stovetop, chairs and plenty of wiggle room to walk about. The staff showed us right to our spot. They have a market conveniently located on the property with everything you might forget including extra firewood! The best value in Lincoln City. We've already booked another week-long stay.

I liked how I was able to choose a camp site from a huge area, also enjoyed the crop circle tent sites. Staff was friendly and I will probably be going back there next time I'm in the area.

The view

Their website did not say that they charge for everything. It offered a clubhouse with a kitchen, so we brought food to cook to find out they rent out the kitchen. They advertised a petting zoo and their llamas died. Their fire rings were crumbing apart. The port a potties were out of hand sanitizer. The other campers partied and argued until very early morning.
