You'll want at least a couple of weeks here… Långasjönäs Camping and Holiday Village in the Blekinge region of southern Sweden is on the edge of Långasjönäs lake, in the Långasjönäs nature reserve, with loads to do all around and a good range of facilities on site to keep you comfy.
The surrounding area is known as the 'garden of Sweden' by locals: several sandy beaches are nearby, as well as a large wildlife park and nature reserve, the famed salmon-fishing spot of the Mörrum river and the rainbow trout fishing of the Kroksjöarna Lakes.
There's direct access to the lake from the site, to reach the fishing area, a beach and safe swimming area in the warm water, and you can hire rowing boats, kayaks and canoes from the Långasjönäs team. Plenty of several walking and cycling trails are nearby; hire bikes on site.
Among the Långasjönäs Camping facilities are a restaurant with takeaway, a playground, a sauna, a TV room and a communal kitchen with stoves, ovens, fridge, freezer and a dining area.
Toilets, showers and a baby changing room are in the central service building alongside the sauna. The site also has free wifi.

Location

Långasjönäs lake is safe for swimming: rent rowing boats, kayaks and canoes to explore the waters further. On land, several walking and cycling trails are nearby and you can hire bikes on site.
There's loads more to do within 10 kilometres, such as the driving safari trail at Eriksberg Wildlife Park and its wild animals including red deer, fallow deer, European bison, wild boar and birds galore; lizards, snakes, spiders, chameleons, turtles and more at the Exotic World animal park in Karlshamn, and the Kreativum science centre, with hundreds of hands-on stations and activities for kids and adults.
Also within 10 kilometres is Karlshamns golf club, a 36-hole course following the old route of the Mörrum river through woodland, and the Karlshamn archipelago, for island hopping among spectacular scenery and Swedish waters Boat trips run several times a day in summer between the different islands.
If you're an angler, the Mörrum river is a must, known for some of the world's largest salmon and sea trout. Buy or hire fishing equipment and take advice from local experts at Salmon House (Laxens Hus) in the centre of Mörrum town, 15 kilometres away.
Further afield, see the story of the Swedish navy at the Marin Museum in Karlskrona, or whirl around the adventure playground with waterpark, jungle climb, trampolines, petting zoo and electric cars of Barnens Gård in Karlskrona.

Långasjönäs Camping and Holiday Village cancellation policy
No refunds within 1 day of arrival date.
In the event of cancellation (without cancellation insurance) the following cancellation fees apply:
If canceled 40 days or more before arrival: 20% of the total price (deposit)
If canceled 39-12 days before arrival date: 50% of the total price
If canceled 11-2 days before arrival date: 75% of the total price
If canceled 1-0 days prior to arrival date: 100% of total price
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.
Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.

Deposit transferable during COVID-19. Långasjönäs Camping and Holiday Village will debit the balance from your card 40 days before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 40 days then the balance will be taken 10 days after booking.
