Liked: Staff quickly on hand when we arrived. Good facilities i.e toilets and showers. Good shop with plenty of camping spares if needed. Bus stop half a mile away next to an Aldi supermarket. Nice site and would go back.
Disliked: Pub on site a little on the pricey side but nice staff though.

Liked: Easy quiet place to get too, fairly level pitch which only required one chock so super easy and quick to get set up. Lovely views of the Fleet with the air filled with the chattering of Geese and swans. Well stocked shop for all our needs including lots of fresh items ranging from fresh healthy, to don't remind my waistline!!!! Onsite Bar was good (only went in once) but the evening we had there was very nice, relaxed with very prompt service, by staff who are without exception very helpful and polite. Same has to be said of the reception and shop staff who certainly made us feel welcome. The washing facilities, showers etc were kept spotlessly clean (as was the whole site) and as far as I can make out were kept open at all times. If I was to split hairs, I would have liked a temperature control on the showers as it was a little too hot for me, but that really is splitting hairs. My Wife on the other hand loved the temperature of the showers and we can certainly say that there was never a shortage of hot water. Lovely walks at the bottom of the site (1 minute from our pitch) all along the Fleet edge. My Wife and I don't like road cycling so didn't use the bikes as once out of the 1/2 mile lane, straight on to a very busy main road. If you take a car, as we did, its a great base from which to explore the local area, however I understand that there is a regular bus service from the top of the lane as an option. The site is very close to shops and takeaways etc (top of the 1/2 mile lane) and also very close to Weymouth and Portland (just a few minutes drive) so plenty to do on active days, but also out of the way enough for those quiet slower days where book reading and the odd glass of something cold is the order of the day. Our pitch was a "Fully Serviced" one so all the creature comforts, with the Elson point just a short walk up the line of pitches. All very easy. So to conclude, the site was clean, quiet, easy to access which is just what we wanted for a relaxing week away. So a big thank you to all the staff.
Disliked: As mentioned above, showers were a little too hot so would have liked a temperature control. WiFi (and my phone signal) did work across the site, sort of, but they do clearly state in the literature that the WiFi is not good enough to support streaming. TV reception however is good so plenty of alternatives.

Liked: Absolutely loved the site could not fault it, well stocked shop fresh bread to order in the mornings, great restaurant/pub. The site was spotless well kept toilets and showers great really good for disabled too as my wife has mobility issues she found it great. Saving the best til last.. the staff always willing to help and all had a smile. Thank you for making our fab holiday even better.
Disliked: The drive is not for the fainthearted, a few of the speed humps are exhaust scrapper's 😂 but necessary it slows people down.
