Liked: Great pub and helpful staff who sorted out an issue with the electric hook up.
Disliked: Think the hit water in the toilet/shower block only runs at certain times? As we had an early start, 3 of us had cold showers. Would be useful to have notification of this if it is the case.

Liked: We were running late due to traffic so called to apologise not an issue they arranged for a late arrival for us. We have 2 dogs and they allowed into bar, secure field for walking them in. Easy hook up with water, showers, toilet, utilities etc. warm welcome in bar. Treated ourselves to a good breakfast on last day.

Liked: Large grass area next to the parking. Pub was good food. We stayed 3 nights and the last night we had to go on the grass pitch and this was not level but had electric hook up. Takes about 25 mins to walk to lake and a nice lake walk into town about 1.45 hours Deli connected to the pub has very reasonable and good cake and pie
Disliked: WiFi didn't work

Liked: Easy walking/cycling into coniston itself and lovely 6 mile walk down from the site to quiet spots by the lakeside and back. Breakfast available in the pub daily. A handy deli on site for a few essentials. Staff very helpful and friendly. Open field area for the dog and outside seating areas by the marquee.
Disliked: its a pub car park so no real outstanding views of the countryside due to a large marquee in the grounds. Motorhome hard standing pitches were bit cramped and sited right next to the marquee so noisy too. Food was not served in the pub but in the noisy marquee out of takeaway containers so we didnt eat at the pub. Toilets were clean but a little small and are shared - only 2 toilets and 2 showers.

Wouldn't stay again due to noise from marquee.

Liked: Lovely walks in the area!! Food and drink in pub nice!! Good showers!
Disliked: Noise!! Not family friendly as they played loud music in the marquee till 1030pm. No hot water in outdoor pot wash! No children's park which seen on photos before we booked!
