Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: Great location close to Bridgnorth Pub was lovely and welcomed us food is amazing Very friendly staff and owners came to us as we pulled on and explained were everything was Water pints on pitch was good
Disliked: Not really the site but the noise of the dogs early morning is terrible and quite hard to sleep with them going on. Hard standing pitch was ok but in a 8ft wide rig we did not fit on the hard standing would imagine it can be quite tight if the site was full it’s a shame we can’t come with our son as adult only site

Liked: Relaxed ambience, tidy little site, usable shower and toilet block , lovely 16th century pub , nice homecooked food, very friendly,
Disliked: No public transport, 1.5 miles into town which you can get to through the public footpaths which is fine if not raining,

From the manager: Hi Karen Thank you for your kind words and Im glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes there is no public transport but m most see this as as blessing - big auld buses can ruin the tranquility of the beautiful Shropshire countryside Hope to see you agin very soon Matt & Team

Liked: Owner was very helpful, friendly and generous. The site was level, clean and spacious. The facilities were very good.
Disliked: There was nothing we disliked. To be a bit picky. Maybe some signs in shower asking people to clean up after themselves.

Liked: We were greater on arrival and given information about the pub and amenities. We booked a table for evening meal on the arrival day. The food was good with generous portions, we returned to eat on our final night . The site is in a pretty location and convenient for a drive to Bridgnorth.
Disliked: The shower block wasn’t very clean. We did see 2 ladies with cleaning supplies heading into the block on our last day - they were gone for while, however expecting the place to be cleaned and fresh it was disappointing to find this was not the case.

From the manager: Hi Thank you for you for your feedback. Im glad you were happy with our home cooked food and also how close the beautiful of Bridgnorth we are. Please accept my sincere apology for the shower block not being cleaned correctly, we normally get really positive comments on how clean our toilets & showers are HOWEVER obviously this time they were not - I have passed this feedback on to our Housekeeping team Cheers Matt & Team

Liked: Greeted and pitched with a warm welcome and everything explained. Nice level pitch with tap. Pub food and drink was first class with very friendly hosts and service. Went into Bridgnorth every day for the annual music&arts festival which was on at different areas and pubs over the weekend. The local dogs were not a disturbance to us. I fully recommend a stay here, you will not leave disappointed.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Arrived a little early, no email instructions and no one about. Adult only site, so nice and quiet during the day, sadly, next to the hounds, they woke us up with the loud barking throughout the night. Pub opens 4 till ???, so was a little hard to plan a meal. Very clean and well kept site and only 8 mins from local town.

From the manager: Hi Thank you for your feedback. The hounds have been in Eardington for centuries and will be for the next century. However I can appreciate it is not to everyones likings and I will pass your feed back onto the owners of the kennel Regarding the opening times, we do say the pub is open from 4pm to ?? but it also clearly states the exact times the kitchen is open as in 5.30pm-8pm on a Wednesday. Im glad you liked our site and yes it is amazing to have the beautiful town of Bridgnorth just up the road from us. Hope to see you again Cheers Matt & Team

Disliked: Noise from dog kennel nearby

From the manager: Hi Thank you for your review and Im glad you liked the campsite and pub. The hounds: We are blessed to be in the heart of the Shropshire country side & with this, comes a certain way of country life - cows mooing, happy lambs baa'ing (if that is a word) birds tweeting & yes every so often the hounds barking now and then. The hounds have been in Eardington for centuries and will be for the next century. However I can appreciate it is not to everyones likings and I will pass your feed back onto the owners of the kennel Cheers Matt & Team
