Liked: It was quiet and the location was nice, with a reasonable view from the top of the field. Portaloo was stocked.
Disliked: Poor communication on arrival, we had to wait about 40 mins to get hold of someone, one of the contact numbers didn't work. It turned out we were OK to go in without them there, so a simple sign or an update to the T's & C's would have helped us know that. Grass not maintained and was hard to do any activities with the kids on, and pitch areas were a little bumpy. Don't think we will be returning.

Liked: A simple but perfectly lovely site. Lisa and her family were welcoming and even invited us to her family gathering! If you're looking for bells and whistles then this isn't for you. If you're looking for a great place to stay with a welcome with open arms then it's right up your street! On the revisit list, for sure!
Disliked: It's a field with a toilet and a tap. If you want more luxuries than that then it's not for you. Just means there's more space for when we return!

Liked: Lisa was fabulous, the campsite is wonderful and everything we needed for an evening of camping. The goats, chickens and horses were lovely to be around and were the highlight of my son’s trip, Lisa even let us feed them.

Liked: Good location, nice and quiet but close enough to main roads to facilitate travel. Facilities basic, but that is in the description. Host was really lovely, introduced me to her horses and even opened the gate for me in the rain!
