Shower block not cleaned often enough
Although and attractuve colour, perhaps the wrong choice of gravel (cotswold?) Was chosen for pitches as it contained lots of fines which dusted and stuck to shoes. A harder, more angular gravel would be better although I am nit picking

Lovely small site that was quiet even though full. Easy walk to local pub and local walks.
Close to canal walks

Toilet and shower, one for male and one for female, maybe a third unisex. Very basic and not very clean. Could be a lot better, with more regular servicing.
No reception area, check in by text.

Great low-key site. Basic but clean facilities. Liked the layout with the little hedges between the tent pitches. Overall a great site for a short trip with our young daughter and dog. Lovely walks from the site too.

The smell at times from the dairy farm was quite strong.

When they say your in a middle of nowhere,you certainly are.didnt like it at all,so many flies,I know it can't be helped. The nearby,was useless,didn't open till 5pm,& wanted to order food,the day we went there,they didn't serve food on that particular day.pub*I meant.

Nice site, quite, lovely local pub in walking distance.

A little too secluded as our campervan is so big we were on foot

Site had all the facilities we needed for a weekend stay, in a very rural location (good if you like cows).
Electric hookup worked and pitches were good size and reasonably well spaced. Privacy hedges a nice addition.
Good pub in walking distance, and the coffee shop round the corner was also popular.
We even saw the end of the local tractor run!
Price for electric pitch was very reasonable. Liked that they allow camp fires too.

Only one dish washing area so had to wait around for this a few times as the site was quite busy (school holidays).

I had asked if we could ensure we had pitches next to our friends (made two separate bookings) and had no reply to the request. I eventually phoned the contact number on the day we were due to arrive to check and the response was also not especially helpful.
I didn't even get any acknowledgement back for the check in phone number procedure as directed to complete by the sign at the entrance. So a little confusing about the purpose for that.
