only an overnight for me but enjoyed the stay and would have stayed longer if it were not for travel plans. Easy to get to via Google Maps. Small. handy onsite shop and level hardstanding pitch. Toilets and shower very clean. Will be back.

Not really a dislike but worth noting Toilets and showers are unisex

I loved all the little touches within the lodge. The lovely walk to the fairy trail really made my day as I love fairies. Will definitely stay again. Anytime we had a problem they were more than will ing to sort it out. they were also very quick to respond to problems.

We loved this site, toilets dotted all over the site which were clean and tidy, everything you need is on site including a little shop, couple of villages near by, we ordered a takeaway which arrived within minutes, the owners very helpful, the site is very well presented

Everything about this site is perfect. Lovely friendly staff very welcoming and accommodating. Spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. Lovely peaceful setting with excellent dog walks. Will definitely visit again.

We thought the facilities and location of this site were excellent and enjoyed our stay. Close to Keswick and other small towns which we enjoyed visiting.

When we arrived we were put in the furthest corner of the campsite away from the toilet block and kitchen. Their were only a couple of other tents at this time. We thought it was because we booked late and the site would fill up but the site didn’t fill up and we had booked for 4 nights. Not very thoughtful of the person who booked us in. There were better pitches available throughout our stay but we had put the tent up and moving it would have been difficult. More showers etc. will be needed when very full.

Facilities were clean and generally above-and-beyond what I expected. Staff were friendly and pitches were well-kept

Pitch on slight incline, communal bathrooms not very well looked after and if it was busier could be an issue with the number of showers & bathrooms
