The site was basic but very quiet. When we arrived the wind was gusting and during the erection of our tent we broke a pole rendering our tent useless. Nicky, the site manager, was extremely helpful going out of her way in order to allow us to hire one of the site bell tents. In hindsight it was a great move and the tent we had was very nice.

A small point but water pressure on site wasn't great and took a while to fill our jerry can.

Location was very quiet, nice view of the water. Toilet cubicles were clean and had soap and paper.
Booking was easy and pitch was generously sized. Couldn’t even hear the neighbours.
Ground was not lumpy and pegs went in very easy.

There was nothing to dislike. Says it all in the description.

Liked that the owners done regular checks. Log fires every night , open top shower was fantastic.

The location and view really made this campsite have a 5 star review. The site was clean and well managed. Portaloos and showers regularly maintained and logs provided on request. The field was cut and a even base to set up our family tent. The pitches are well spaced and your not overcrowded.

You can access the water if you walk around the outside of the field along the footpath (10mins walk), however the seabed is muddy and like sinking sand. Not advised for access for kayaking/paddle boarding, unless you want to get very muddy! No fault of the campsite, but it is what we disliked.

The campsite provides stones to raise fires of the ground, but there are only a very few fire pits on site (maybe ones left behind). The site does not provide, which again wasn't a problem, but I feel as they sell logs they are missing a trick not also providing some form of fire pit pre set up on each pitch, I think they would get allot of wood sales if they did!

The campsite was in a lovely location which looked across amazing views. Everyone was friendly and the washing up area and toilets were all clean.

The site was perfect for us, well cut grass and plenty of pitch room for our Tent. Toilets and showers were near to our pitch and kept clean. We will definitely be booking again for next year

More toilet facilities would have been great

Lovely view, lots of space between pitches - which made a lot of difference with sound. Easy bus connections Weymouth and surrounding area via Jurassic Coaster.

Facilities were very basic and no sense of community.
