The guy that checked me in seemed nice.

Toilets like a dockyard toilets. Weird intimidating vibe. Lots of kids running around screaming and making a lot of noise. Loose dogs running around barking. Could be a traveller’s site.

I just enjoyed camping always have!

It’s was almost like a a gypo site..
There’s was a lad in a red pick up truck that works there on about cocaine to other guest! the lack off security there is beyond..behind my porch all the fence is broken so anyone from the outside could easily gain access to the site in the night..infact there was someone walking around late at night..it’s meant to be a family camp site it didn’t fell that way at all..I’d never stay again..we had people partying late at night music really loud..there wasn’t must at all there for kids..especially kids with additional needs, there is a lot off abandoned static homes other nature was taking over the homes there..was meant to stay a full weekend but we cut it short and stayed one night only due to the party goers and loud music.

It was terrifying, truly. Look at the Google reviews for this place before considering booking... It's not somewhere you want to go if you enjoy feeling safe. If you love being stared at and intimidated then crack on. Really think pitchup should remove this site from their listings.
Majority made up of permanent residents. The place is insanely scruffy and any visitor feels immediately out of place and like you're intruding in a community you don't belong to. When drove past our pitch in the end as a group of twenty or so adults stared at us as we drove up whilst they had a BBQ set up on our pitch. I haven't bothered requesting a refund after reading the Google reviews.

Don’t really leave reviews but wanted to let people know what this one is like. First impressions seconds into driving past the gate were “WHAT THE F#*K HAVE WE BOOKED INTO HERE”!! It is essentially a traveller site with some grass in the middle they make money from letting it out to unsuspecting campers. The “locals” just seem to park where they want. When asked politely if they could move so you can get on the pitch, they do, but aren’t happy about it. We were touring so just needed it for the showers however we may have been better of using wet wipes!! Luke warm and very little pressure. We had booked to stay there for a night later in the week too on our way back but after only 30 mins there had made our minds up there wasn’t a hope in hell we were going back. We slept in a layby on a main road and felt so much safer!!!

We found the Park very comfortable and spacious pitches.

We enjoyed and made use of all the facilities including the swimming pool and the fish shop. We enjoyed the evening entertainment in the clubhouse.

An excellent number of toilets and showers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly be returning.

Men's toilets were not always stocked with toilet paper or soap.

Amazing weekend! Quiet campsite and family friendly!! Showers & toilets were clean and continuously being cleaned! Swimming pool was lovely and warm, kids loved it! can’t wait to return

If you want a quiet trip don't stay here.
Set pitches are non existing as you can just pitch up anywhere. On top of each other seems to be popular. Windbreaker to windbreaker, awning to awning. Loud rowdy caravan owners that have drunken singing sessions until early hours of the morning with no care for other campers using really bad language knowing its a child friendly site, you can have a domestic and smash up your caravan also til early hours and you won't be disturbed. Warden clearly doesn't mind. Flood lights are switched on at night which are so bright it's lighter in the tent in the night than in the day. You can drive around park all night if u like reving your engine, seems its allowed too. Pool was a nice size but needs alot of work done to keep up the presentation, not very clean, rubbish in pool, no where to change so have to walk out wet in swimwear to the shower block. No where to keep belongings either.
Club house was very dark and dingy.
With exception to a big outside seating area, however no shade as the parasols are kept in a old phone box.
Food was fairly priced with large potions at the onsite fish shop.
The shop was aimed at the children based on what was on sale, sweets, crisps, ice cream and toys.

Main entrance looked welcoming and reception staff were pleasant.

Upon entering the site my heart sank, we could not believe our eyes. The view of small dirty caravans crammed in, which looked like a refugee camp or the favelas of Brazil. This is not a sight you want to see after a long journey. There were a few vans that were looked after, but most looked like the would crumble at any minute. It's a predominantly residential site and the residents are not keeping it tidy.

Ok here we go! This is basically a traveller site. The toilets were filthy all the time! Even poo on the floor! I have stayed in a lot of places over the years & this was the worst. The children on site were horrendous. Swearing at myself & my children constantly. Using threatening behavior towards them & derogatory language. Intimidating behavior was horrendous and they also physically attacked my children. I decided not to raise at the time with the staff on site purely because I didn’t feel safe to do so. Telling staff would have made my family more of a target & decided to keep my children away from the park. So off to the pool we go. Lo & behold those particular resident children were there also so time to move on from that activity. Plus the pool was so so cold I’m surprised I didn’t get hypothermia. I’ve never had to sleep anywhere with 1 eye open before & definitely know how that feels now! Honestly avoid this place! This place is not for the faint hearted as quiet time doesn’t start until 3am & you have children sneaking around your caravan / car with torches until then!
This could be an absolute gold mine if they revamped the facilities & removed certain people. However I completely understand that there is no point in revamping whilst they have that clientele on there.
