Ok wouldn’t go again . Hostess was lovely and welcoming but not on our wish list sorry

Pitches could be better also the toilets rather than cabin ones ! We only stayed two nights that was enough.

This is our 3rd consecutive year staying here in December alongside our family in another unit for a Christmas meal in the pub next door. Always a pleasure to visit this site.
Every year the ground works improve from filling holes to upgrading the lighting. And now we have an on site warden who is very welcoming and friendly, it makes it very easy. We shall be back again in Dec, but wish to come in the Summertime too.

We always stay at the George on the way North, facilities are good and the we love the Pub meals.

Good location next to a pub which did Good food at a reasonable price. Showers facilities clean and nice. Warden very pleasant and helpful. Good for short stays..

Pitches a bit basic and hardstanding ones which we stayed on limited to space and not very wide.

Very clean facilities, handy dog friendly pub
Had a nice meal, & some lovely walks.
This is a very small site with approx 27 pitches,( hard standing only during wintertime) so Limited space available.
Overall a lovely stay, some hardstanding pitches are smaller than others but adequate, toilets, showers, nice clean & warm.

Lovely campsite with some of the best toilet and showers I have used at a campsite.

The high yellow security gate ( Essential for security ) doesn’t open with the supplied swipe card, which means going into the pub to get a member of staff to come out & open it.

Really nice location. Friendly site manager. Good facilities. Bathrooms were nice and warm and shower hot water too. Clean in bathroom and other toilets on site.
Great pub situated next to the site which serves good food & beer. Can be very busy between 5pm & 7pm

Pitch was smaller compared to other sites for the same price and facilities.
Need bike or a small car to explore the area if not using your van.
