Staff very friendly on arrival. Lovely peaceful pitch with stream running behind. Showers and toilets were clean. Pub onsite and carvery and cooked breakfast were really nice. Bar staff were very friendly.

Nothing but pub did not have HP sauce available for breakfast, the brown sauce they had wasn't very nice.

Very pleasant site with decent sized grass pitches. Had a nice walk alongside the river. Friendly warden. Clean toilet block.

Bit far from shops, take aways,etc, for us without use of a car (we were in a motorhome)which limits our time there. Pub food seemed expensive for what it was

Great layout with mature hedges. Very good washing facilities. Pub has good beers and good food.

Lovely site, clean and quiet

Spacious pitch, very quiet despite being next to a great pub. The warden was very polite and helpful. The facilities were clean and tidy Perfect base to explore numerous towns and villages and a great walk direct from the site.
Definitely be staying here again.

Nothing to dislike

We wanted somewhere local near to where we lived and this was perfect - a small site in perfect settings by the river in the countryside. Four of us on two pitches next to each other, with two medium sized tents and our own electric hook up. We had plenty of room for the two cars and we also had a bench table which was great for sitting together enjoying our meals and evening drinks. It was next to the George and the food was lovely. Facilities were excellent, probably the best showers and toilets we have experienced on a site before. Close to the canal and did a lovely walk to the Tudor Inn along the canal. We will definitely be coming back!

Noisy neighbours blasting music out all day in adjacent pitch

Great location - ideal for exploring the local area (especially by bike and walking), also conveniently within 10mins of the M5 motorway. Good sized pitches, well maintained site with excellent main Shower and Toilet Block (spotlessly clean). Additional Toilets on site. Good pub adjacent (but not too close to create noise !).
Also big plus …. the Site Manager (and her partner) that look after the site ! They are both friendly and welcoming whilst also trying their best to look after customers and maintain the site (10/10). THANK YOU 👍😀😀

Nothing really, just an observation.
One improvement to consider may be the provision of Shower Mats as the trays can be quite slippery to stand on. Having said that, to be clear the Shower Block is a superb facility, very roomy and spotlessly clean. It also usefully has a Washing Machine.

Great site, riverside location, plenty of walks and things to do in the area. Pub food was good and reasonably priced, pretty sure we will go back again some time.
Sunday carvery at the pub was great but do book in advance as it was busy !
