Lovely site right next to a river, walking trails and a good pub. Conveniently placed for driving north.

A beautiful camping site with pitches separated by mature hedges, ours being right next to the River Cam. Thanks to the lady on reception we were able to be next to friends who'd arriving the day before us. The shower block provides individual cubicles, containing was basin shower and WC. Also a children's play area and bouncy castle. Conveniently there is a lovely pub right next to the site.
Siuated a short drive from the Slimbridge Wetland Centre.

Make sure you bring all your food etc provisions with you as there is no shop on site and thd nearest is 10 minutes drive away.

Great site, generous sized pitches and large shower cubicles. Perfect with the pub next door too which serves breakfast which we all made use of once packed up and heading home. A lovely little walk along the river and you really cannot hear the road noise and we were in tents. I'd put this site into my top 10 as I'd definitely go again. As a family split between the Midlands and Devon we try and meet for a weekend camp once a year at a half way point and this fits the bill. With the hedges per 2 pitches it didn't feel you were on top of each other and they offered privacy.

Good sized pitch and a great set up with nice walks and a friendly pub on site. Tidy and well maintained site.

Nothing really to dislike. Had everything we needed for a short stay.

We meet up with friends for a get together weekend and this was our first time staying at Riverside. We were absolutely delighted with the welcome by Georgia and the toilet/ shower block was spotless. Have the pub was a big advantage and we used it for breakfast and evening meal on the Saturday. The staff were great and the service was excellent. All in all it was a fab weekend, see you next year.

If I was being picky I would say that the entrance to the site could look a little better. Once you got to you pitch it was level and private.

Lovely very clean and tidy site. Shower block brilliant with big spacious showers. Lovely welcome and nicely organised. Nice quiet spot away from the play area. Lovely riverside walk and Great to have a pub on site too. Will definitely stay again.

WiFi not great

Excellent pitch sizes which also had a bit of privacy. The shower block was very clean and we liked the fact that all 4 units were self contained. Great location with the really good pub next door.

Nothing to note - we will be back next year for sure.

Lovely little site. Pitch right next to the river with a pair of swans with a signet right behind our van.
The George was lovely with loads of character and a good size beer garden with a park for the little ones.
Some nice walks close by.
Shower block was one of the nicest we've used. It's like having your own bathroom. Lots of space.
Site was lovely and clean. Waste water area and recycle bins always clean. Toilets were spotless.

Only a small site so no shop on site. Nearest shop we found was about a 10 minutes drive away. No TV signal (some would say that's a blessing) and slow internet.
Food in pub was quite expensive and nothing to write home about.
