Liked: I liked the well-kept pitches and the layout of the site. Good location and very easy to find. Check-in was easy but a little impersonal, but everything went well. Good location for visiting the RAF museum for the Lancaster bomber and several of the seaside towns like Skegness.
Disliked: Toilets are very dated and need some TLC and cleaning properly and more often as the signs requesting that users to leave them clean after use are not working. The grain works next to the non-electric pitches are very noisy and go until very late also the dust was horrific one of the days we stayed (not good if you have any allergies) this I would say is beyond the control of the owners but users beware.

Liked: Near the Aviation centre. Big pitch size. Level pitches.
Disliked: Showers were flooding in gents as floor out of level. Showers in ladies were poor flow. One flooded out onto the general area.
The washing up water to wash dishes was cool and never hot.
First Class. Lovely site in a very pretty area.

Liked: Well set out with plenty of space. Well manicured and tidy. Plenty space to run the dog. excellent toilets and free showers. Pub...just there....About 200m walk to the fabulous Air museum. Do not miss the Lancaster Taxying, worth the entrance fee alone. Chatted to several friendly villagers too. We were also treated to RAF Phantoms overhead...bonus.

Liked: The site is great and close to Lincolnshire aviation centre . Had booked for 4 nights however the weather forecast was so bad I did not bother going , The airshow went ahead although there was no flying displays so I saved my petrol money travelling from Cheshire. Will be booking for a few visits again next year .

Hi Thankyou for your review we have marked the toilet and shower block for a renewal again at the end of this season, the washing up area is new and I have myself checked the temperature of the water and was hot when I checked it, it’s possible that maybe you used the washing up area when others had just used it and the water heater was reheating the water,
I will keep my eye on the water and check that it is working correctly.
