Quiet

On a hill so slipped out of bed all night even with chocks

Location for its short walk to the beach and local pub

Had a pitch at the bottom of the site which was next to the busy A4139 and the railway line which made it noisy. Not too bad if you could get a pitch near the top of dite

Clean site ideally situated for the beach pubs and a nice walk across the beach to Tenby town

Friendly staff on arrival.
Electric hook up didn't reach so lent us another to extend reach.
Helped us with bus timetables and walking routes so we didn't have to drive about.

Excellent facilities and position, some 400 yards from the South Beach at Tenby. Bus stop very close to site entrance and Pengally railway station 200 yards away (if you need). Easy access to Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and Tenby 1 mile away along the beach.
Shower block clean with loads of hot water, older toilet block acceptable. We visited in mid March 2025 and the site was very quiet.

The campsite grounds were ok the location was great for walking.

I have to be honest the toilet and shower facilities were absolutely disgusting, I appreciate it’s difficult in winter to keep mud under control but they smelt of urine the walls and floor needed scrubbing, in the corner of the toilet there sat a dirty mop and bucket. Would not recommend this camp site unless they had new upgraded toilet/shower facilities

The location. Near the beach and within easy walking distance from Tenby. The train station is very close too, so no need to use your own transport to get anywhere. Really cheap return tickets to either Tenby or Saundersfoot.

The washing up areas had intermittent hot water. The new shower units were good, but you needed to leave the door open after using to ventilate it for the next person after showering. The old blocks were ok, but dated and we just used the loos there, which were clean.
