Nice views

Toilets and showers were not very good at all .
Tiny hired trailers , campers had the place rotten by afternoon I couldn’t even bring myself to use the loo it was that bad , showers you were standing in puddles and not much room .

Site is in a great location, with fantastic views of the nearby fells and a stream running nearby. Lots of room for kids to play. Facilities are of a good standard with a dedicated washup , clean and pleasant showers and toilets. Staff running the site are helpful and there is a laid-back vibe to the place. Great for families. Perfect for hiking up the nearby fells.

Bit damp underfoot (I thought the grass might have been a bit long). Were some parties that wanted to play music until the early hours, although the staff dealt with the situation when asked. Could do with a small shop onsite as there is nothing local (at least within walking distance).

I had a fantastic experience at this campsite nestled between the mountains, offering breathtaking views. The toilets were clean, and the showers always had hot water. I highly recommend this place!

Setting was beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful.

There were far too many tents in the field and that spoilt the idyllic spot. There were also were not enough facilities for that many tents and they became dirty very quickly.

How friendly staff were made sure everything and everyone was OK. Took no nonsense on site

Only down side is toilets and showers were not looked after so by the end of our stay they were smelly, blocked up and not the cleanest

Super friendly owners, lovely on arrival and if you needed anything they definitely would have helped in anyone they could.

Not enough facilities for the amount of people, needed double the amount of everything -especially pot washing up area.

Really helpful & friendly staff.
The views were just amazing it's a perfect spot.
The toilets and showers were great too not just your standard portaloo.
Ice cream van visited daily so the kids were happy 😊
We would definitely return!

Nothing to do with the site just the amount of rain we had lastnight made packing up this morning that little bit messy but, you can't control the weather unfortunately
