Quiet campsite with adequate facilities and a small stream that you could go in. Was also near to a pub although there are much better ones a bit farther away.

Amazing location right at the base of Catbells, and super close to a lovely local pub with food offering

A little expensive for the facilities available, but still had a lovely atmosphere and scenery

Lovely site nestled in the foot of the mountains. It was lovely and quiet once the weekend rush died down.

First time visiting here. It’s an ideal location if you want to be near the lake, we still drove to get there as we had the paddle board to carry and it’s too far to walk into the town. The staff were great, once you checked in they just let you get on with it. Plenty of groups of people up late drinking and partying having a good time. There’s a nice pub round the corner but book it before you come to visit as we got knocked backed when coming on the day for food.

There could have been a few more toilets, with them being portable toilets cabins it was difficult for the staff to keep them maintained. It didn’t effect us too much as it wasn’t particularly busy that weekend but it could be an issue if they are fully booked.

A perfect little basic campsite to stay with friends, for a couple of nights. The views were also amazing. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away. Staff were friendly too and happy to help.

Excellent location close to Catbelks and Keswick, besjtiful, praceful site adjacent to a brook and country lanes/ furlds. A grest pub just 5 minutes walk away and duper friendly and helpful owners Sean and Ruby. Nothing was too much trouble

Only 1 sink for washing up so had to queue
Toilets not very tidy- paper n loo roll everywhere- campers werent tidy. Oweners tried to keep on yop of it, but toilets need checking a bit more often as were often untidy/ messy

Love the place very much. Will give 10 out of 10. Place between the mountain and next to river. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean toilet and shower room. Peaceful place and suitable for all aged people.Love to go there more and more.
