The hosts were friendly

There is no where near enough facilities, legally there should be around 3/4 times more toilets, shower and water facilities. We stayed in the adults only and there wasn’t a single toliet or running water which was wild! We had to walk over to the main site and even there they only had three toliets per everyone and the second morning we were there two were blocked due to (number 2s) thankfully we had enough water at our pitch but if you didn’t come prepared this would have honestly been a nightmare. It feels as though it’s a wild camping experience so if you go into with that mindset then great but this is not the place to stay if you need running water or you wish to use a loo without a 15 minute wait.

It gets Noisy. People should not allowed to play loud music late at night.

Greeted on arrival and host was available for questions when needed. Facilities were cleaned regularly. Close to catbells for a lovely morning walk. Short drive to waterfalls, shops and the town.

No complaints

Friendly welcome, facilities were good and showers included. Quite peaceful on the site, with logs and firepits available to rent. Great views of surrounding mountains.

One washing up station which got a little busy, and queues for toilets in the mornings. Grass did get a little muddy after rain, which saw a few other campers get stuck!

Great campsite with beautiful views staff where great we camped on the left next to a steam and being able to have a fire was great

Staff super friendly and helpful, beautiful little stream over the other side of the road, super clean toilets and showers and the rental of fire pits was an amazing touch! We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the views we woke up too around the camp site, lovely family running it and their kids were very polite and good with my dog.

-campsite hosts were really lovely we booked an extra day on whilst we were there and completely flawless
just had a really lovely vibe will definitely be coming back!

The chilled out owner and they had fire pits. We didn’t use them but would return to use them next time. It had clear signposts and was easy to find. It was spacious and flat with lovely trees for the birds to sing in. The sound of the river near by was lovely to sleep to!!
