Disliked: Only spoiled by the nightmarish one and a half mile single track road leading to it. Heaven help you if a tractor appears. More waste bins needed

One of the reasons we highlight our arrival and departure times is to deal with the 2 1/2 mile access lane to get to the park lane.
As all of our neighbours including farmers know our times we are confident that most of our guests who heed the directions do not have an issue.
There are times when motorhomes and even cars towing touring caravans have solely relied upon their satnav and ignored the park instructions and have driven to us on the 1 1/2 mile lane marked as light traffic only from the main road.
Thankfully most people research prior to setting off and enjoy the whole of their stay

Disliked: Pitchup.com says that you need to arrive by 7pm and so did the booking e-mail from Morfa Bychan Holiday park, so i left in a time to arrive around 5 or 6pm but had a phone call from the park at 14:10 so stopped and phoned them back, they asked what time i would arrive, i explained it would be around 5pm but said that it does state to arrive by 7pm they said its different in the winter (off season) so ended up rushing to get there.
went swimming with the kids at just after 4pm as on the welcome pack, website, welcome e-mail and permanent signage on the gate to the swimming pool it states 5pm closes, at 4:30 one of the staff came in to say it was closing, i asked why as its open to 5pm, but apparently that's not in off season, so me and my 2 children had 2 mins of time in the pool.
I have knocked off 2 points one for each of those as both are important and easy to be fixed.

Our wardens will always call our customers prior to leaving for the day to see if they need to hang about in the reception to help our arrives or come back later to accept a late arrival, our latest arrival time is 7pm at this time of year.
Our swimming pool all year has an opening by 10am and close by 5pm, as the nights are drawing in and it is dark by 5pm it makes sense to start the close procedure at 4:30 so all can be checked and put away in safety, our signage by the pool at the changing area and washrooms lets all customers know that we will be packing the pool away at 4:30 to be closed by 5pm.
Many apologies for the over zealous wardens who seem to have mis judged this situation with poor results.

Liked: This site is by far the best one we have ever stayed at!!
The facilities were really good, the kids really enjoyed the park and the pool which was very warm and clean.
We enjoyed walking down to the beach also. Very friendly and approachable staff.
The laundry room was also very handy 😃
Would 10000 percent recommend.Disliked: The only downside is there was a dog poo bin right across from our pitch which did let off a smell but didn't interfere with our long weekend.

Not too sure how the dog bin was overlooked but clearly we should have noticed before a customer was inconvenienced, this has been brought to the attention of the relevant people to remedy and hoping it doesn’t happen again
