Liked: Lovely clean site, pool was great. Staff were nice.
Disliked: Lane leading to the site was 2.5 miles, and quite hairy if you meet anything, we adhered to the times, but still had problems. Another level of pitches had been added in front of us, not in the pics. Had to take the awning down from day 2 due to the crazy winds, obv not their fault βΊοΈ

We understand that the 2.5-mile lane leading to the park can be stressful, especially when encountering other vehicles.

Liked: Lovely location just right for exploring the Welsh seaside and magnificent landscapes. It's our second trip here and it is always relaxing and the facilities are excellent. Friendly and helpful staff who maintain the site and the grounds.

Liked: We visited here on our touring holiday around wales.
We were wowed on this site the moment we pulled up.
The wardens shown us to our pitch and set the whole caravan up for us with it being on a slope.
Levelling it completely for us.
The toilets and showers are dated but they are clean and that for me is what it should be. They have plans to invest in the shower block and the plans are on the wall outside detailing the works.
Really good play park for kids with the pirate ship including slides and tunnels.
Even a heated indoor swimming pool which we enjoyed as a family

Liked: Itβs a great site in a beautiful location with fabulous views over Cardigan Bay. Our pitch was ideally located to take advantage of the views and had a picnic table. The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is so relaxing that we stayed longer than expected. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the shop has a few handy basics. The children on site were playful but well behaved and rowdies are not tolerated by the staff. (Hence we didnβt encounter any). We will definitely go back even though itβs a long way from home in Northumberland.
Disliked: The facilities are quite good if a bit tired but a new block is in the pipeline for next year. Theyβre kept nice and clean.
Our Red Kite pitch was a bit small for our twin axle caravan but we were allowed to park the car nearby to make space around the caravan. When we go again weβll ask for a larger pitch as they are available.
Access to the site is via very narrow lanes but once we understood the best ways in and out, which are different for cars as opposed to caravans and motorhomes, we had no problem. It would be good if more information on this was provided at the point of booking.

Yes a 10m long pitch seems to be a large pitch but when you want to park, sit and sometimes get an awning up it doesnt go very far, especially with a twin axle and large tow vehicle.
Red Kite 10 and 1 are double sided pitches so have that bit extra room but all of them are only 10m long.
We are very excited at our upcoming full washroom new development we hope to get started very soon.
Not a lot of people click on the location tab on the pitchup booking whislt researching their stay with us which gives some handy information on ignoring a satnav and which entrance to come at us from, we ask that arrivals dont do so until after 2pm and everyone departs before 12 noon, for the very reason of not meeting on the lane.
