Very well maintained everywhere. The toilets and showers were immaculate. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Full gravel pitch, no grass.

Secluded but close to all the area has to offer, toilets and showers good, pitch also.
Can't think of any downsides apart from not being able to use our bike to get down to the toilets etc., however they do have a one way driving policy in place and some of the approaches are quite steep so I can understand this.

The area of the park on which we were located was ok overall.

The hard standings are small and therefore the area for an awning was on grass. Our grass was muddy due to recent rain and a temporary piece of rubber had been placed over a patch right alongside the edge of the hard standing , held down with bricks making it unusable. There was a section of the park near the amenities which seemed to be seasonal pitches, and this area was awful- the caravans and their awnings were in disrepair and filthy externally. On some of these pitches there was a lot of random items left visible. We had to walk through this area to the amenity block and it gives a very negative view of the park. The park need to improve this area to ensure they maintain a better overall standard.
