5 min walk from village of Upton upon Severn

Nearly turned round & came home when I drove onto the site!!! Basically a field with a portacabin for toilets (that needed a good clean), EHU & cold water taps. No warden on arrival so people just pitched up where they liked. No showers, hot water or washing facilities. Now I did know it was a very basic site but didn’t realise just how much so! By the Friday afternoon the feild was pretty full. I popped out for a few hours on the Saturday morning & when I got back 3 other campers had arrived & pitched practically on top of me, when I suggested they were far to close they told me the warden had told them to pitch there, eventually 2 campers did move as there really wasn’t enough room. I spoke to the warden & she said they needed EHU so I had to put them there as people haven’t pitched properly?! When I suggested maybe mark the pitches up so we know or have someone on site, her reply was ‘well it’s never been a problem before’! When it came time to leave, the gate had a padlock on it so I had to ring them to get the code to the padlock. Now I don’t mind basic & did have a lovely break but I feel £28 a night for just myself & my little dog is a bit steep. This is more of a pop up site not a camp site!

It is a really lovely place not great facilities like toilets but I didn't expect there to be for the price and location. The location is great to access the lovely town of Upton Upon Severn great pubs and restaurants very close.

not much really just one thing they could do with a hose to flush out thetford toilets when emptying

Location is great for a night in Upton . It’s right by the road into Upton so a little road noise but didn’t disturb me . Toilets on site very clean.Chemical disposal and fresh water . No showers . Electric hook ups on one area .
Free to pitch wherever and if you don’t require a hook up just pick your spot . Perfect for a short stay and there’s loads to do in Upton . Would definitely stay again .

Really close to town and nice flat field. Toilets basic but clean and owner very friendly.

Road is a bit noisy as it's elevated but gets quieter at night.

Only 5 minutes level access to Upton.
