Fantastic views, very clean site and lovely friendly owner nothing was too much trouble and advice what to do and where to visit .Wonderful pub with amazing food 5 mins .Honesty shop on site with milk , eggs and some veg , use of microwave and kettle.We loved this site and will return Thank you

The view is amazing here. The people working there were extremely helpful. The honesty shop was full of a mixture of things including fresh milk and homemade ale. The showers/toilets were modern, immensely clean and it was thoughtful of them to have feminine products under the sink also.

We loved the beautiful views from this peaceful campsite. We were met with a warm welcome & had a wonderful holiday here. The site was calm & quiet, the facilities were spacious, clean & well kept & there were so many thoughtful touches, from a friendly lamp by our tent to help guide us home at night, to sanitary products in the toilet, eggs/milk/courgettes/matches available to buy, kettle/toaster/microwave available to use & even the possibility of a fire pit to hire. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Amazing view .. nice size pitch ..very handy having kettle and microwave in honesty shop .. toilets were very nice..great having WiFi .. bar area although closed looked nice to relax in

Nothing to dislike .. only suggestions .. a half litre bottle would be good for milk/ milkshake and maybe put on info bar opening days/ times

Views are spectacular and the site is clean and tidy. Lovely little bar on site with a decent pint. We will call again soon

only downside to our weekend was the rain. Friday lovely, Saturday a complete wash out. Not even the dog wanted to go outside.

Such a shame to add this to our review, we would have given 5 stars if this incident had not happened.
The one major complaint is being falsely accused of not clearing up after our dog (again, it was not us!) we kept our dog tied up, on a lead and used the dog field many times a day and any waste produced was picked up, bagged and placed in the bin provided, we spent our whole time with our dog almost to the point of paranoia to ensure we were not a bother to any other guests. Numerous people arrived to the camp and because of where our pitch was located asked us continuously how to check-in, a lot of these people where standing around with dogs for some time, it could of easily been one of them. It was the comment made ‘we’ve never had this problem before’ as if there was no doubt it was us. Perhaps view the cctv you have and it would be seen we were not involved.
Until this unfounded, embarrassing accusation and unwarranted comment everything was spot on, but this tainted our stay and ruined a wonderful visit.
