Lovely quiet site next to the pub where the food was fabulous including the best carvery..

Very nice and clean site well set out and a lovely pub with very nice food.

Toilets were clean but need updating not enough showers only one male and female
Will go back again.

Had an absolutely lovely week ,staff in the pub were down to earth polite and helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back again, nice large car park and easy to get onto pitches, the food in the pub was amazing and accommodated for friends coming to visit we needed a table of 10!lots of places to visit in the area would definitely recommend this site

Would had liked a pool table /darts activity inside the pub

Lovely pub either fantastic food and service, good campsite with good size pitches and optional electricity.
Good TV reception, good 4g coverage, didn’t try WiFi

Toilet block in need of updating

Loved the pub being so close and the food was amazing. Lovely location so close to lots of areas to explore.

The glass bottles being emptied in to the bin at 5.30am!

Nice flat site. Very secure as locked gate at entrance to site. Pitches large and clean with short mowed grass. Elsan and rubbish bins/ recycling available.
Pub on site was lovely, very friendly staff and excellent food at reasonable prices.

Toilets/ shower were in a porter-cabin which had seen better days. Washing up facility also a bit run down. Not too much problem as we’re self sufficient but could do with renovating or replacing to make site perfect.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our electric hook up cable was not long enough so we were supplied with a free of charge extension which was a god send.
The pub is lovely make sure you book in advance for busy periods.

The toilet/shower/washing up facilities were a bit dated and only 1 x female 1 x male shower was not really sufficient for the number of pitches.

Toilets and shower kept clean with all facilities needed. Grass recently mown and the pub food is amazing!

Just had to ring the number a few times before someone got back to us to be able to access campsite but not a problem really.

The pub is the absolute best! The most amazing food ever.
Don’t be put off by the slightly dated look of the pub. The pub and campsite are superb. Very peaceful and we’ll definitely return.

Shower block

The site was well kept and pitches reasonably level, good access to site with locked gate. The pub next door had good food reasonably priced with pleasant staff and a public footpath just up the road to walk your dog. Pub also does take away meals if you prefer to eat in your caravan. There is free WiFi but signal wasn’t brilliant on hard standing pitches, Would have given 5 stars if toilet block was tidy.

Toilets and shower are in serious need of improvement and could do with a good clean. Toilets are very narrow with one of the male toilet doors not being Able to be locked when in there and no toilet paper available in the ladies. Both male and female toilets are in one demountable and they could really do with two demountables which would give more room in each and allow for extra toilets and showers
