A nice site, level pitch (no need to chock up any wheels). The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pitch was a good size. The Hunters Inn is a good pub with good food. Although you pay for metered electricity we used about £1 a day so the cost was insignificant. Access to the site is good with the Hunters Inn being located on a B road (compared to the tiny single track roads to some sites). Close to Tewksbury and Upton on Severn there is a reasonable bit to do without travelling too far.

The loo block is rather below par. One Men's shower and one Ladies shower for the whole site. Although they do get cleaned regularly even after this they still have an air of neglect about them. Although we liked our location on the site the electric point was right at the limit of our 25m electric cable, to the extent that it had to be stretched partially across the neighbouring pitch to reach.

The campsite was in a beautiful setting and The Hunters Inn served up amazing food which was wonderful.

The toilet block was the only disappointing element to our stay, but it was functional.

Quite pleasant site. Behind locked gate. Popular excellent restaurant. A good relaxing stopover near to Tewkesbury.

Good sized, level, grass pitch with an optional hook-up.
Proximity to the bar/restaurant.
An excellent evening meal. Good choice of beers.
Quiet at night, disturbed only by the occasional passing vehicle on the nearby B road.

Some people review the shower/toilet facilities negatively, but for a night or two, they're OK.

We arrived Saturday afternoon not really knowing what to expect and we were greeted by a lovely lady in the pub who gave us all the info we needed and booked us in for an evening meal.
We found out pitch and set up our tent for 2 nights
A lovely quiet site with a swing for the kids.
The toilets and shower were basic but everything we needed.
This was our first time out camping in over 6 years

The food was lovely as were all of the staff.

Close to the M5, superb hosts, superb quality food & drink, overnight stays very competitively priced, we stay here every year on our way down & back Newquay.

Toilets could be better.

location after a day exploring Tewkesbury was fab - not too large a site and lady who gave all the instructions at the bar really friendly. Road busy but was quiet overnight so good night sleep had - toilets clean - didnt use shower but looked clean too.

the bar - popped in for a drink, most places set up for eating so asked where we could sit just for a drink - grumpy man behind bar, not even a smile to welcome - "sit where ever not laid up" thats a perch on a wobbly stool by door way then - if stay again avoid bar unless eating there too
