Great place owners was lovely

The owners of the campsite are lovely and it was great to chat to them. Also really liked the campsite as a whole, the views were great and the new toilet block was nice and clean.

The showers were quite far but speaking to the owner he said new showers that were closer were coming for next summer which definitely encourages me to come again!

The pitch had plenty of space, easy to find a flat spot, minimal restrictions for the stay, beautiful location, great facilities, water available, friendly hosts, great sunrise and sunset, friendly cows and an all round great time.

Friendliness of staff, well cut grass and loads of space. Level fields. Lovely trees to define field edges. A working farm, I sat by my van watching the cows headed to the barn for milking.

One of female toilets unlockable as bolt broken and in another toilet seat wouldn’t hold up. Didn’t have time to report this, unfortunately. I’m sure they would fix it if they knew. Toilets were very clean.

Great hosts on a working farm. Plenty of room to choose where to pitch up.
Facilities are good and the new toilet block since I last went was a nice addition.
It's location makes it easy to travel to the top spots of the peaks.

Nothing the farm can do but be aware of airplane noise kept us up during the night.

The view on the back field is incredible. The toilets and showers were always clean and the staff super friendly.

Beautiful location and plenty of space. The trail into lathkill dale goes right from the edge of the site so it’s perfect if you want to run/walk. Basic facilities as you’d expect on a farm site but quite pretty

Quiet rural site- when raised an issue of hygiene was quickly dealt with.

basic and too few toilet and washing facilities described as having play areas and rope swings - didn’t need either but only 1 swing I saw and “play area” just field. No real literature to show walks or activities in the area. Very stark reception with ice cream and logs for sale but no real hosting. Described as working farm but offers no real signposts or invitation to look round which we thought would be from info at booking.
