Lovely chilled site, basic facilities but was nice to go back to basics and camp as you’re supposed to! Beautiful scenery and really friendly helpful staff. Xx

Second time visiting. Great site with gorgeous scenery, and nice laid back vibe. There's lots of open space for kids ro play and over all has a safe feel. The owners are great, very friendly and on hand to help with anything. The facilities are basic but always kept clean and at £25 a night it's very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Location by the river

Toilets and shower facilities

Beautiful location with amazing views over the river and countryside. My children were entertained by the river which has plenty of shallow areas to paddle in. The site was clean and had showers and toilets. The showers are basic but they do the job. There was also a washing up room available. Whalley is a short drive away which has a Co-op, Spar and other shops, pubs etc. Noise on an evening was reasonable just people chatting and children playing. The site was quiet by around 10 ish. There are sheep that wander freely which was a lovely experience for the children. This is a great site to stay at if you’re looking for somewhere to just sit back and enjoy nature. If you’re not looking for a holiday park experience then this site is perfect. We would definitely return.

The pitch itself was good plenty of room , wasn’t all crowded together could pick where we wanted to set up when shown an area we’d be setting up in , liked the visitors throughout the day seeing the sheep and lambs, wood and fire pit was available to rent/buy £10 for wood and pit, had washing up facilities for your pots and pans hot water would work sometimes but understandable with how many people using the water

Only thing to let it down was the toilets , in our area we had no toilet so had to walk over to the next section when there was only 1 toilet and no toilet roll it would keep running out and there was hardly ever any hand soap so luckily I brought hand sanitiser, not the owners fault but given a music deadline of 10pm turn it off as young children was there not to wake them but people around the camp still had it playing gone 11pm
