Very quiet, with clean facilities. Everyone was friendly.
Bus stop for Stratford right outside the site.

This site is just a place to sleep, rather than a place to spend time relaxing. It's nicely kept but there is nothing for the children to do there, and no views to look at. There is no play area for children, but families can use the dog walking field for games. Pitches felt very close together. Luckily not too much of a problem as everyone was pretty quiet. Shower block was nice and clean, but very cramped so you have to squeeze past people brushing their teeth in order to get to the toilets.

Not a child friendly campsite! Bombarded with a list of rules to follow on arrival. Providing you have lights out by 10 and your children dare not make a noise before 8am the wardens leave you alone but god forbid they play with a ball the wardens are telling them off and sending young children to the unsecured field near a main road away from parents view to play.
There were also 2 banned breeds of dog on site which are “long stay” residents - one of which bit my child requiring hospital treatment which is now a police matter.
Shame they weren’t so strict with the rules then.
Owner of campsite also showed very little interest.
Pitches sloping but this clearly reported in other reviews.

Lovely dog walking area, but no bins to put dog bags in

We were impressed at the welcome and consideration given which allowed for a change of plan without penalty. We appreciated the ample hot water and heating in the shower block. Also appreciated the lack of notices warning people not to misbehave as those who do misbehave don’t read the notices anyway.
