Simple & clean with food van x2 a day

Pitch sizes excellent, loved having use of charging points and fridge freezer, very useful. Hot food van at breakfast/tea time. Hot showers, enough room to hang clothes etc. Peaceful site, could hear traffic from road but not enough to disturb us.

Dogs kept on leads at all times. Some people are scared of dogs so we get it but be better if there was an area to let them off, felt a bit tight on him cos he's on his jollies too!

Nothing to dislike

The staff were amazing.. I met other solo travellers.. It was a lovely stay.. Nice friendly people I travelled for work I was made very welcome all around. Very clean and tidy they also have a food van hot food and cups of tea and coffee.

Nothing at all

The couple who own the land are very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The butty van is an added bonus - open for an hour in a morning and an hour in the evening. The field for kids to play on is great with a mini playground and football nets. It’s very serene here and the views are beautiful.

This is a beautiful site in a great location - and a superb price compared to others!! The toilets are in one container like box, and the showers in the other. Both clean. We were so surprised that during the height of the school holidays, and a weekend to boot, the price was so good. We weren't squeezed in at all. Bonus that you are almost encouraged to have a lovely campfire with wood and fire pits provided at an extra cost. The little food van serving breakfast and dinner was a real treat. No music is allowed on the site, which is great. The freezer for your freezer blocks was empty, compared to a previous site we had been to. There was also easy access to electric plugs for charging and hot water for dishes. The owner is so friendly, as are the other campers. Totally recommend!
