Spacious showers and good sized pitches
Great access to voie vert to get to Tours and Amboise and free swimming pool

Washing up areas could do with cleaning first thing in the morning because of all the insects that gathered overnight, plus a bin for food scraps would help keep it cleaner

Good sized pitches, electric worked.

Very few of the water points were working, meaning you had to 'intrude' on other peoples pitches to collect water.
Toilet block adequate but for one 14 hour period during our stay there was no toilet paper.
Reception doesn't open till 9.00am in the morning.

On our last night we were visited by thieves who cut open our tent and sleeping compartment fortunately I woke up and scared them off before they could steal anything however our tent is severly damaged. Reported the attack at 9.00am to the manager in reception who told us he could do nothing and we should email his boss and send photos. Several other tents were also attacked.

We did as the manager suggested and received a reply that they were now going to employ a nightwatchman and the offer of a voucher to the value of our stay to use at another one of their campsites.

Obviously we will NOT be staying with this company again.

The change in the name of the campsite!!!! It has been called Camping Peupliers for quite some time but no correspondence mentions this. Caused an hour driving around to find it. This web site has also not aknowledged the change of name!

Good sized pitches, clean sanitary block with sanitiser, soap and toilet roll. Pool nearby looked good but unfortunately wasn't open when we would have liked to use it.

Easy to find site, town not so easy to negotiate (but that's not the campsite's fault)

Showers need to be descaled as they mainly sprayed water around me - common on sites especially when fixed so high up.
WiFi only available close to office but this isn't unusual and not a complaint as we only needed to check a couple of things.
