Beautiful setting on a working farm with lots of different animals present to meet. Owners were very friendly and welcoming, very kindly giving us the option to stay on a separate field to families as we don't have children. Food cooked on site was great and it was nice to have the option for a cold pint! Pitches were sizeable and it felt private

Nothing really, toilets could have been a bit cleaner but that's being a bit picky

Location - we stayed to do the MacMillan Hike

We were put next to an enormous group of children having a party, they had a cinema tent with a loud film playing until midnight. We asked a staff member to maintain their post 10.30 quiet camp policy fir the second night as we were exhausted after our charity hike, he politely agreed and apologised for our lack of sleep. But the manager then followed me down to our van to confront us about the issue. He said that ‘only’ our group and another had complained and accused me of waking up his father too in the morning to open the gate to go on our charity hike. That was not our group or relevant to the issue. He was rude and aggressive.
There were only 3 loos and 3 showers for 50+ pitches, they were filthy and the shower door didn’t close. I’ve never had such an awful experience with a campsite.

Everything was brilliant!
The facilities, the area, the pond, pizza and all the animals.

Friendly helpfull owners .
You can get a drink and freshly made pizzas on site next to the fishing lake. Little bar area with TV , tables and comfy sofa.
Allowed to face any direction on our pitch grass with plenty of space.
Facilities clean . Dishwasher £1.50 by card if you wanted.
Enjoyed seeing the chickens , ducks and the turkey roaming around 😆.

Can hear the road in the distance but didn't bother us.
We would go there again .

Nothing to like I’m afraid. Just LOUD noise of very fast cars and lorries.

Absolutely awful camping experience. It’s right next to the busiest road I have ever encountered. If I could add the videos we took while there I would but only pictures seem to be allowed.
If you can find another site close by not by a road where in 1 minute 4 lorries and 15 cars drove by and that continues all night and day then definitely choose an alternative.

Really lovely place in a ideal location. My two year old enjoyed seeing the animals that they have on site. The grounds were clean and had good facilities. I particularly liked that they had a community fridge which was really handy for keeping my toddlers milk in. There was also a dish washer which was a great addition. The staff seemed friendly and we brought fresh pizza from their bar
. The prices in the bar were very reasonable. This was my daughter's first Camping trip that we did for her 2nd birthday and safe to say she had a very happy birthday.

Wasn't anything bad, other than things perhaps that couldn't really be helped too much via the site. There was a family next to our tent which were pretty noisy and playing loud music until 2am. I think perhaps if there was some signs up/ or even just mention upon arrival, asking people to be mindful of others, that would be the icing in the cake.

Loved our stay at Broad stone Park everyone is so polite & very welcoming 🙏 will definitely be bk again next year.

Absolutely love this place, we have been visiting for 12years and watched it grow. Owners lovely and very welcoming, nothing is to much trouble. Very clean site, walks in the Forest, lakes to fish, lots of animals to see, bar with amazing cider amongst other drinks! Short drives to others places in the local area.

Having to go home

Play park. Safe space for children to play. Woodfired pizzas were amazing - the best ever. Friendly welcoming staff. Direct walk into the woods of the Forest of Dean. Easy access to the rest of the Forest of Dean. Free hot showers. Camp dishwashers at £1.50. Pay as you go electric (1 Kwh max) at normal UK rate.

Booked 1 4 berth pod & 1 tent pitch..asked for tent pitch to be as close as possible to pod field & staff were happy oblige. Grandkid’s loved seeing the animals around the site and the deer in the neighbouring meadows.

Returning very soon hopefully
