Great location for outdoor activities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Clean, warm facilities with plenty of hot running water.

Overhead noise from being within a flight path. Obviously not the fault of the camp but just something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper.

Reception staff on arrival were helpful. On the website it appeared we would be camping in the forest, we were looking forward to the site.

IWe were anticipating a woodland setting and booked hardstanding and grass with electric hook-up. In reality what we had was a smallish 'field' type setting with trees around it.

We were not on hardstanding, there was no hard standing available and we were directed to a grass pitch sloping backwards. The first morning we were there it started to rain heavily and we could see that previous vehicles had skidded trying to get off the grass so decided as the 'field' was starting to get water-logged we should move. Not an ideal position for larger vehicles and the site should review this when booking in larger vehicles.

We stayed one night, having booked two... it was quite noisy in the night - there are large huts near this area that obviously had a group of young people staying in them and at 1.00 am they were outside making a lot of noise. The site is also directly under the flight path of a local airport and the planes are quite low and noisy.

The water pressure is extremely low and again if the site was busy, this would be even more difficult. The power supply kept cutting out and this was causing issues with our boiler.

We were hoping for a peaceful, relaxing couple of days, in woodland. Sadly disappointing and I imagine when full to capacity in the summer this would be very busy and extremely noisy.

One other issue to factor in, is disposal of grey water... you will need to have some sort of pipe configuration to be able to empty as there is not a drive-over grill. We ended up not emptying our tanks as it was too difficult.

We didn't use any facilities so cannot comment.

There were plenty of facilities and the view of the lake was beautiful, plenty of activities that could be done and the reception staff were lovely and very helpful.

There wasn't a very good track down to the pitch. It was a windy muddy track that was extremely difficult to menouver a touring caravan around. Also was a bit hair rasing leaving up the muddy track as wheel span a few time. Think maybe not the best for touring caravans just purely for accessibility.

Activities absolutely brilliant and well run. Gorgeous site. Very friendly young start doing the activities.

Lack of help when towing a caravan and where to go and pitch. First time towing on my own as my partner met me a few days later I found it very hard to find my pitch and very narrow thin lane throw the woods. Mixed shower blocks, which the sinks seem to be blocked most of the time. I was there for nine days and not one person came down to make sure the pitch was okay. Or set up in the right area.

The facilities and the sheer space of the location. The cafe was an amazing addition, allowing us shelter (and food!) from the rain

Site was great, staffs were super lovely!

Toilet/Shower room was mixed sex and was blocked quite often

Lots of activities on site, bike routes on site. Small shop for necessities, view of the lake. Good Toilet and shower facilities. Nice building with a bit of history.

Some of the childrens play equipment is in need of refreshment. Lake side shower facilities were flooded when we arrived.

Lovely site in the woods , toilet facility's were very clean and great location for visiting local attractions

Not so much as a dislike , more of a disappointment, being our first visit to the site and unfamiliar we found it hard to find our allocated pitch, from reading and email confirmations we was under the impression we would be shown to it, maybe a misunderstanding on our part.
One criticism we do have is dogs not being allowed down by the lake.

Beautiful site, surroundings and large pitch sizes. Lots of activities on offer and can walk, cycle straight onto the New Forest.
