- Dog-friendly site five minutes’ walk from the lively centre of Renesse
- A 25 minute-walk from Renesse Strand for walking and watersports
- Kids’ club, family entertainment and playgrounds on site
Zeeland’s windswept beaches have rightfully won over many hearts, and Camping de Oase is also a place that's likely to woo its guests. Its charms are pretty powerful, whether you look at its gorgeous location 25 minutes’ walk from the beach at Renesse Strand or its family entertainment schedule, chock-full of things to keep the tribe busy.
The site has good looks, too, that’s for sure – views around here take in both dunes and lush green settings. Mind you, it's likely that kids will be more wowed by sights such as the playgrounds on site.
On top of this, the enthusiastic entertainment team run the Max & Lily Kids’ Club, along with daily sports sessions, family quizzes, laser tag and evening shows.
For those times when you get a bit peckish, the on-site grocery shop has freshly baked pastries, fresh orange juice and a supply of local produce for sale. The lively centre of Renesse is just five minutes’ walk away, with lots of inviting terraces for meals and drinks.
Getting out to explore the North Sea beaches is perhaps best done by bike, but two feet will do the trick too, especially if you head to the 17-kilometre-long Renesse Strand and walk to the sandbar, a popular spot for seals to bask. There are lots of ways to get active along the coast, including swimming, kite flying, surf lessons and horse riding.

Local attractions
There are so many beaches to choose from – so, what will sway you one way or the other? For a sandy beach backing onto the hilly Gull Dunes and the largest forest of Zeeland, it has to be Strand Burgh Haamstede (15 minutes’ drive).
Meanwhile, a spectacular dip in Lake Grevelingen can be had courtesy of the eight-metre-high slide on the Brouwersdam (10 minutes). This ocean strip also used for surfing, sailing and diving.
The Brouwersdam is the country’s seventh Delta Works structure, and if that doesn’t mean anything to you just yet, pay a visit to Delta Park Neeltje Jans (40 minutes’ cycle or 15 minutes’ drive) to learn about how these storm barriers work. The theme park on site runs seal shows too.
