General
- Scenic site overlooking St Brides Bay
- A working farm set in open countryside
- Coarse fishing lake within easy driving distance
Plenty of mighty purty places are in Pembrokeshire. And one of the county's purtiest is St Brides Bay, the mouth of water and coast from Skomer to Ramsey islands – it's part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and has a few Sites of Special Scientific Interest thrown in to boot.
Overlooking this purty lot is Nolton Cross Caravan Park, a mile and a half inland from the hamlet of Nolton Haven, and set in open countryside as part of a working farm.
The kids have plenty of space for ball games on site as well as a play area that's centrally situated to all areas so they can play safely and parents can have peace. A coarse fishing lake with views towards the Preseli Hills is about 500 metres from the park: we'd call this vista mighty purty too.

Local attractions
As already mentioned, St Brides Bay is mighty pretty – and both it and Pembrokeshire in general have a mighty bit to do too.
The sandy beaches and watersports of Newgale, Broad Haven and Whitesands Bay are all within easy reach, as is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (a coastal bus runs daily in summer for those who don't want to walk).
Skomer, Ramsey and Caldey islands are a bit of a must if you're in this part of the world: reach Ramsey from St Davids, Caldey from Tenby, and Skomer from Dale and Martins Haven.
Also nearby are St Davids Cathedral and the Bishops Palace, Oakwood Leisure Park, Folly Farm and the country parks of Llysyfran and Scolton Manor. Horse riding, surfing and fishing are all available within three miles.
