Great location for shorth walk to Coombe Martin and short drive to Ilfracombe.
Great little shop onsite, and good facilities within the Clubhouse.

Would have been nice to have had a Shower block next to the Pods and camping site - there is a toilet only block close by, but showers were at the top of the park amongst the Static caravans.

Low level lighting along the gravel path to the pods and gravel path/stepping stones to the Pods themselves would have been beneficial - particularly as we arrived on a rather dark and very rainy evening.

Swimming pool, friendly welcome, clean showers and toilets. Good facilities, handy location.

We stayed in Safari tent 1 which had an amazing view of the sea (Safari tent 2 is behind this and doesn't have such a great view). We had everything that we needed in the tent with all kitchen supplies and bedding provided for us. There was also a heater to use overnight. The toilets were nearby and clean and the car park was really close so we didn't have far to carry our belongings. Remember to bring a torch/lantern as although there are two bedside lamps in the tent there are no other lights and limited plug sockets! We had a lovely relaxed weekend, the view from the porch is beautiful, I can't wait to go back next year.

Views, beach

1. Had to wait 1 hour in reception for them to find my booking.

2. Pitch was unbelievably uneven (hurt my neck trying to keep myself in bed and had to pay £45.00 for treatment).

3. Was warned that the pitch was uneven and was told that if it's too bad come back and they will sort it. I went back and said we couldn't sleep there and they didn't give a fuck. There was 3 other free level pitches available and they didn't want us going on them.

4. Couldn't have a shower because the shower was scalding hot. They will have a issue soon when a kid gets burnt.

5. The pool was closed! What's the point!

The stripey staff wer very friendly and interacted really well with the kids.

There wasn't a separate room to wash crocks up, it was in the same room as the toilets.

We liked the pool and park setting next to the coastline. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The juds like Freddie fox although didnt engage with activities due to timings etc. The kids loved the outdoor play area .

This is not a park for camping. Its noisy and ill equipped for those looking for tranquil purpose built campsites. The camping area is misleading online with pictures depicting other devon sites.
Sandaway has a small grass area directly in front of entrance of busy road, adjacent to club house and loud music and compere until late. The camping green has a road round it feeding the mobile homes which overlook. The toilets are not situated with camping area which at night time with small children isnt great.
They are pretty clean although pretty wet with puddles at doorway.
Two washing up basins . There is a shop.
The 10 available pitches are not marked out so get there early or it's abit of a free for all with uneven pitch sizes depending on where people set up. Criss Cross of wires sharing a few electric points. It's on a slight slope whose gradient increases at furthest end of green but it is the furthest away from road and clubhouse .
We were blighted by rain and wind which didnt help but I think the above is factually accurate.
