Liked: Peaceful well kept site. Staff were friendly and kept regular watches on site without being intrusive. Non electric pitches were very level. The shower facilities were very clean and hot water was plentiful. WiFi there is great. The kitchen /wash up area was well set up and had everything you'd need. Good dog walking area and although we didn't use either there was a good children's play area and a lovely outdoor pool. Would highly recommend this site and would definitely use again when visiting this area.

Liked: The site was very clean and tidy and quiet with a level site. We liked the dog field and felt that responsible dog owners were welcomed. Also liked the shower bathrooms .

Disliked: Saw the landscape contractors using weed killer on a windy day with a spray hose a long way off thd ground and it was the middle of the day.Best practice is to spray close to ground early morning or late and not in windy conditions thought this compromised the nature friendly vibe of the site

Liked: Nice quiet clean site well away from town and city’s near a very clean beach

Disliked: Sadly the biggest let down was the Chemical waste not on map, very poorly sign posted and very poor condition needs updating

Liked: Lots of facilities. Clean. Lots of outdoors space (The pool looked lovely - even though unfortunately it was out of season). 10 min walk to a lovely beach. Friendly reception staff. Useful information on the back of the camping piece of paper with local places to visit/walks/food ect. Self serve cafe at reception. Beautiful views. Park. Good value for money.

Disliked: No path to facilities from far away pitches - so other guests were walking right past our tent late at night as we were right next to facilities. Toilet lights left on and they were very bright in the night shining into the tent.

Route directions

From St Austell, take the B3273 towards Mevagissey for approximately three miles, at the top of the steep hill, turn right signposted to The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Seaview International. Follow this road and turn for the yellow Seaview Lodges sign. If you are using a GPS or satnav device then do not carry straight on at the top of the hill as this will take you into the centre of Mevagissey where the streets are extremely narrow and often blocked. Please turn right at the top.

Seaview is close to the South West Coast Path – and sands – of Restormel, a top spot for cyclists and walkers, and among the coves, safe clean beaches and jaw-droppingly scenic coast of the beaut Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes and St Just are both within easy reach; access sailing, fishing boat hire and kayaking nearby at Mevagissey. Famed Cornish options close by are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, three and a half miles away, and the big biomes and the tropical rainforest of the Eden Project, under 10. You could also take a boat trip along the Fal from Falmouth, pedal the Clay Trail for five miles from the Eden Project to Wheal Martyn, or venture determinedly forth for Cornwall's old castles and buildings, including the Caerhays Castle manor house a couple of miles from the site. Kids will surely like the Shipwreck and Heritage Centre, within a short drive at the port of Charlestown, and Flambards theme park and the Crealy Great Adventure Park (about an hour by car). A football golf centre, indoor soft play and the Wingz bird and animal sanctuary are all a few minutes' drive from St Austell. Regattas, carnivals and festivals run throughout Cornwall all year round; ask the Seaview team when you arrive what's going on locally during your hol.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 24/05 and 31/08 (subject to weather conditions).

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Units will be allocated on arrival.

Visitors

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Dogs must always be on a short lead (not exceeding 6ft/2m).

On arrival you must show your booking confirmation email to avoid delays whilst records are checked.

Late departures are subject to fines.

Pitches are equipped with a round pin connector electrical facility.

All guests must use breathable groundsheets as this protects the grass.

Blades, skateboards and motorised micro scooters are not allowed to be used on the Park under any circumstances.

The swimming pool is not supervised. No dogs allowed in the area.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times whilst using the amenities and facilities on the park.

Windbreaks must not exceed six poles and are allowed at the discretion of the management. Windbreaks contravening this rule will be removed by the park staff.
