Wake up to an unruffled vista of gentle hills and cobalt seas at Lanyon Holiday Park, which offers 14 acres of generously proportioned grass pitches.
Site facilities are great: you can wallow for hours – free of charge – in the toasty indoor swimming pool; the games room is open all day for TV, pool and video games; the kids can bounce themselves silly on the sizeable trampoline in the play park; and they’ve even thought of the dog, with a roomy exercise paddock for campsite canines (although there are no end of gorgeous walks in the countryside surrounding Lanyon, too).
There’s no need to stress about the essentials, either. It’s all here: fridges and freezers, ample free hot water everywhere on site, hairdryers to keep your barnet looking tiptop, and oodles of washing machines, rotary and tumble dryers, and a free ironing kit.

Hi Chloe - thanks for the feedback, always appreciated. Firstly i will try and address your dislikes - 1. You were in Owl field which is only open in peak season and mainly just for tents - it is unusual this year but down to Covid that so many tents brought chemical toilets - where the elsan points are hasn't ever been an issue for us. We are however really pleased that you found the pitch size generous, found everywhere clean and tidy and liked the little extras such as the wetsuit dunk tanks. |

Local attractions
Leaving Lanyon, it will take a mere 10 minutes in your trusty automobile to arrive at acres of golden sand. Surfers will think they have dived and gone to heaven: Portreath, on the doorstep, is not to be sneezed at, but a few miles further they’ll find arguably the best surfing in Britain, on the beaches of Newquay.
Art lovers will enjoy a trip to the Tate at St Ives, followed by a meander through the narrow streets that pack the hillside behind the sweep of the bay.
Also within a short drive are the biospheres of the Eden Project and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth. Travel a little further and you can make throngs of finny friends at the aquarium in Plymouth.

Lanyon Holiday Park cancelation policy
No refunds within 40 days of arrival date.
If cancelled between 35 and 15 days before arrival, a credit note can be issued for later in the year.
Modifications are subject to a £18.00 ($31.22) fee.
Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancelations and for your property/injury whilst away.
Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.
Payment
Deposit transferable during COVID-19. Lanyon Holiday Park will debit the balance from your card 40 days before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 40 days then the balance will be taken immediately.
Hired accommodation: £50.00 ($86.73) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.

Thankyou for the review and the plus points! The night you stayed 5th October there were only 4 people (you included) staying on our 16 acre site as it is our 'low' season so i can imagaine you wont have seen many/anyone around! If you visited in our mid or high season the vibe is very different.
