  • A peaceful site in the heart of the country, close to sea and city

A lovely rural site in the heart of West Sussex, just a stone's throw from the beautiful city of Chichester. We are in lovely countryside and yet just 10 minutes from the beaches of Selsey, Bracklesham Bay, the Witterings and the famous Selsey Bill.

With two acres there is plenty of space to spread out. Each pitch has electric hook up and we have a toilet for use by campers.

We have 11 pitches. Five Caravan Club grass pitches where members have an acre to spread out, plus six pitches for non-members (five hardstanding and one grass).
The pitch price is £23 per night, including electric hook-up, to include a caravan plus car/ or motorhome, with two adults.
Additional people (adults or children over 5 years) are charged at £3 per person, per night
We welcome dogs, free of charge and we make no charge for awnings.

If your booking falls over a Bank Holiday, the Goodwood Revival, or the Goodwood Festival of Speed, or if you are with us during the school summer holidays, then we would ask for advance payment to secure the booking.
Otherwise, we ask for payment on arrival, by cash or cheque.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not have card facilities.

Depart: (2 nights)

We are on the B2145 road between Chichester and Selsey. Look out for the Sidlesham sign and then look out for the Anchor Inn pub on your left, we are about 100 yards further on, on the right-hand side, opposite the thatched cottage.

(If you are using satnav you may find that it takes you past us – so look out for the pub and the thatched cottage and if you reach the garage on the right-hand side you have gone too far.)

Local attractions

If watersports are your thing, then try out the surfing or kitesurfing at Bracklesham Bay with its cafe right on the beach. Visit nearby East Wittering with a whole host of friendly shops and cafes - my favourite is the Drift-in Surf Cafe (excellent cappuccinos!) or spend the day on the beautiful West Wittering beach, with plenty of space for picnics, walks, or relaxing on the wide stretch of sand that lines the shore.

For walkers and nature lovers, we are just 10 minutes from RPSGB Pagham Harbour and Medmerry Nature Reserve.

If you fancy a city break we are just 10 minutes from the beautiful city of Chichester, with its thirteenth century cathedral and thriving centre. We are in the perfect place if you plan a visit to Goodwood for its famous Festival of Speed (25-28 June 2015) and the Goodwood Revival (11-15 September 2015).

And if you are heading over to Europe then we are just a stone’s throw from the ferry at Portsmouth, making Fieldgate an ideal stopover site.

Even closer to home, there are two stunning golf courses just two minutes drive away - with a newly built crazy golf - ideal for all the family. You can leave your caravan or motorhome safe on your pitch and get the bus - with a bus stop right outside the campsite. The bus service is excellent - every 15 minutes to and from Chichester - or you can explore as far away as Brighton, Arundel, Portsmouth and Bognor.

When you return from your day out you can relax in the friendly Anchor pub which is just across the road from the campsite.
