Location: Set against the backdrop of sweeping meadows and lush woodlands, our campsite is located on the picturesque grounds of Baddow Hill Alpacas. Just a short scenic walk away from the river Chelmer and Paper Mill lock, where the gentle flow of water meets historic charm, our idyllic retreat provides the perfect balance of natural beauty and convenience. Accommodations: Choose from a selection of spacious tent sites, each offering fantastic views and easy access to restroom facilities including a hot shower and fresh water sources. A washing up area with hot water is also provided. Fire pits are provided for you to enjoy roasting marshmallows (weather dependent). Well behaved dogs welcome, they are to be kept on leads and away from livestock Farm Life Experience: Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of farm life with up-close encounters with our beloved alpacas, friendly goats, and graceful horses. You can join us for daily feeding sessions, where you can interact with the animals, learn about their care and behavior, and even participate in trekking and cuddling sessions (available at additional cost). Whether you're a seasoned animal lover or simply curious about farm life, our furry friends are sure to capture your heart. Scenic Walk to River Lock: Embark on a leisurely stroll along the scenic trail that winds its way through the countryside to the nearby river Chelmer and Paper Mill lock.
