The building site certainly took the feeling of a holiday away

Set in beautiful grounds, lovely walks. Toilets and showers spacious with hot running water and clean. Washing up area which suited our needs. Good sized pitch and clean grounds. Easy check in and guide of the site .

Nothing to dislike, I do wonder if the toilet area is adequate in quantity at peak times. Was great this month due to it being quiet.

Facilities, staff, location. Peaceful location, great for a night away from it all. Two pubs and a shop a short walk away in the nearby villages.

Could of done with the washing area and toilets being cleaned more regularly, floors were very wet and muddy

Open space/ walks/ snack shed

building site very close to pitch (Pitch up said no work at weekend or adjacent to site!) / noise from A1/ waste fire on building site/ downwind from neighbours fire pit/ no waste disposal. Toilet block was clean and modern but other facilities amateur/ missing. Mobile home and seasonal pitches seemingly take priority over Camping site.

There is plenty of space to pitch a tent. Very peaceful and a lovely place to spend a couple of nights away from it all.

This is a lovely park with fabulous ponds and it is right on the river Nene. The pitches are spacious and the staff are very friendly. There is good security to the site and some great walks.

The shower block and toilets are clean and you have a whole spacious shower room to yourself which includes your own toilet/sink and plenty of space for hanging and moving around. Watching the Jackdaws and Crows take off each evening was quite spectacular and the geese and swans would visit regularly.

I would certainly return but probably not while the building work is still taking place.

Building work! sadly there were lorries constantly coming and going clattering around up and down the roads and building work was taking place with diggers and lorries moving around kicking up dust as there are some new mobile homes/lodges due to be sited, as this is also a static site. Staff had commented that this did not take place at the weekend but I have just returned and work was being done throughout the day Saturday, however not on Sunday thankfully. Such a shame as it spoilt an otherwise idyllic site.

No Wifi.

Upon on arrival there was plenty of parking so that you could check into reception. Reception area was set up correctly for social distancing and I waited a few minutes to check in, was given a map and friendly directions.

Easy to locate the large camping field at the rear of the park, a row of electric pitches separate the two fields. It was free choice of where you could pitch if your not electric, however you need to consider that the mowers and seasonal pitches need space.

Noted park security driving through early evening, which is always reassuring.

Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy, and I noted they were being cleaned in the morning after the peak showering times which is ideal to ensure they are clean for the remainder of the day. Easy access taps, and drinking water stations, with washing up facilities.

You can access a variety of footpaths and bridles way directly from the site, and you can walk to Yarwell Station to take the Nene Valley Way train.

A dog walking field which was a pleasant surprise, however dogs must be kept on leads. Overall the site was very dog friendly.

The only downside I would note is the building works, however this didn't particularly affect us at the weekend part from the dust, however I would imagine during the week it would be different story.
