Well located for us half hour outside of Bath (our trip) but closer to London (home).
Helpful checking in as we were running late. Andy very good directing us and greeting us.

2/3 shower/ WC units were closed as we were out of season.
The outside water taps were frozen so unable to fill up motorhome.
It was freezing temperatures, so not a great deal they could've done and I'm sure if I called they'd have sorted it but luckily we'd eaten and could use shower block.

It is very rural, but is on the outskirts of Hilperton, with the village centre only half a mile away on a flat road with a pavement.
The emailed instructions include the electronic key to the gate (if only I had read them in advance!) which made arrival very easy.
Pitch had water as well as hook up, so was able to top up without moving the van.
Friendly and welcoming staff.

Very nice site, very quiet and within walking distance of local pub/restaurant and Trowbridge if you feel a bit more energetic

Did have to queue for toilets (only 2 open)

We live on a farm and enjoy staying with farmers. It was nice to be welcomed as we are still getting used to our van. We appreciated seeing the stars and being able to walk to a village bus service. It was a relief the campsite was not polluted by WiFi -hooray!! - which gives one of us throbbing headaches and poor sleep, a problem for so many people we know. 3rd time here, Had a great time, Andy was very helpful & a really nice guy, who looked after us very well, Lovely Place to go, No complaints at all 5* campsite.
Love the lock gate, the bathroom & toilets are kept cleaned, & tidy, Fire pit cheap to hire & wood too! Excellent! Lovely laid back place to stay. Many Thanks

It could do with a couple more tiolet blocks

This is a nice tidy campsite with gated entry and a friendly welcome. Only 5 hardstanding electric pitches plus a field for tents. The facilities were clean, fine for a quiet weekend in November but may be too few for high season. Lots of places to visit nearby and good walking including along the canal nearby. Look out for the Avonfield Kitchen cafe at the Hilperton plant nursery with an interesting menu for all diet requirements and reasonable prices. I had a lovely 3 night stay, thank you.

Beautiful surroundings, huge hard standing. Excellent value. It is a working farm, no bells and whistles but a lovely peaceful place to stay.

Nothing to complain about!

Flat field, with plenty of space. High quality toilet/was/shower units - albeit could get busy on a crowded site. Quiet.
