The way the park is run very judgemental and regulars seem to be preferred.
Theres a sense of judgement all round.
Bikes and scooters around the park at speed despite being told they were only allowed on the park at check in.
Dogs barking all over the park.
Dog owners who couldn’t control their pets allowing their dogs to go for other dogs when walking past.
Smoking of cannabis around rather strongly.
Felt very controlled and watched times being checked leaving and returning.

Clean, quiet, friendly, lovely facilities, flat, good sized pitches. Very quick and easy check in and arrival.

Great park and facilities for the children, outdoor connect 4 and snakes and ladders were a special hit.

Easy access to the river and plenty of picnic benches by the river.

All round nice site, we would visit again.

Nothing to dislike

The setting is beautiful, facilitates are good and cleanliness can’t be faulted

The management and way the over all park is run. Regulars are favoured over all guests. And there is a self righteous atmosphere from regulars and the team as you go about the park . Movements are tracked and checked via cctv. The park even ringing us to check on the time we had left our dogs and if they were ok despite the fact we have cameras and air con and we explained this the first time this happened. They are perfectly fine one of our dogs suffers with anxiety outside and prefers to be left at home to being out in the car. Also in the heat it’s safer for them to be in an air-coned camera controlled caravan. It felt like others thoughts and opinions were projected upon us rather than the knowledge we have of what’s best and their routine. I’ve stayed in a number of caravan parks in my 40 years of caravaning and never have I ever had this! Dogs barking all over the park all of the two weeks of our visit but my dogs seemed to be targeted. Illegal substances were being smoked around my grandkids. Bikes and scooters being ridden all over the park at speed despite being told this was only allowed on the bike park. My awning was also tampered with. All was reported but nothing seemingly done.

As a family we love staying at Westbrook, it’s fantastic for the kids to play in the river for me to do some fishing. Facilities are clean, staff are welcoming and friendly.

Not a dislike but a club house would be a great addition after the local pub closed

Clean and tidy

Management were rude not helpful if you weren’t in the click supposed to be dog friendly if you leave your dog in caravan and they bark you are wrong they expect you to take your dog in car with temperature at 30 degrees the rules state no bikes no scooters but children biking all the time people smoking cannabis reported the smell when there are kids on site nothing done site was clean and well kept but wouldn’t recommend this site do to management

A fantastic tranquil, clean and tidy site with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Plenty of space on the grass electric pitches. Great WiFi

My grandson took his kayak he had a great time. laundryroom fab showers great everything clean a d tidy. Nice staff

Bit disappointed because we had booked two pitches together- but when we arrived they told us we wernt together 😔
