Play ground / River swimming / spotless, very clean toilet shower block / lovely welcome / spacious pitches with own tap

Poor Wi-Fi from pitch (not essential for me but advertised and Kids would have been quieter earlier (without complaints) with decent Wi-Fi)

Warm welcome from the owner on arrival, very friendly site in general. Pitches are level.
Shower rooms/ toilet were immaculately clean (hairdryers) the chemical waste and laundry room were too. (Washer, drier, fridge freezer,iron and board)
Lovely park for children but not many on site when we went as it was first week back to school. Walk along the river was peaceful with picnic seating close by. Lovely pub called the fountain inn , very helpful and made beautiful meals, gluten free for me as a family member of pub is coeliac so was very knowledgable and most of menu was gluten free , even puds!

Not really a problem for us but the pub just across the bridge is closed so you do have to go further afield for a drink.
Wi-Fi was hit and miss .

Excellent site, super pitch, I would recommend to our friends and family, we will definitely be going back

We stayed for a week with our 2 young boys and dog. We had a fantastic time and the boys loved the new park. The river was great and we enjoyed catching the little fish. The dog exercise area was brilliant and we loved how big the space was and how secure it was. Also a bonus that the river was in the same area so our dog could cool down in the heat. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the option of the freestyle box was great. Facilites were very clean and the showers were great. The pitches were very big and well kept. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

An exceptional site , so well maintained , spotlessly clean , very very good facilities, could not find a fault if I tried . The ladies who helped us on arrival could not have done more for us , as it was only our second camping trip we are still learning and they were a fountain of information , it took a load of worry of our shoulders , I can't thank them enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

Absolutely nothing .

Loved everything about this site, it was our first visit but it definitely won't be our last. The site is immaculately kept by a team of lovely people who are always eager to help, they have a daily presence passing by on the golf buggy or on bicycles smiling and saying hello , nothing seems to much trouble for them. The dog exercise area is super having safe access into the river for the swimmers , it's a lovely safe area to just sit and enjoy the surroundings while the dog runs free. It's a very peaceful site with a nice friendly atmosphere. There is no TV signal so they provide you with a free sat box that you connect up via a cable on your pitch which is OK for general TV. Phone signal or wi fi is not great but then being off grid is nice sometimes.

The site and all the amenities were very clean, it’s not a big site so you’ve never got far to go, we felt happy for the kids to make their own way around. The kids loved the park and the whole family enjoyed the riverside picnic area. The river is accessible and safe for a wild swim and the kids loved the shallow, rocky, fast flowing section creating river rapids games.
This site isn’t far for us and we had a great couple of days. This site is top of our list for those last minute weekend trips.

(Nothing to do with the site) - but the pub next to the site has shut down which is a shame as looks lovely. I went off the pics on here which suggested a pub within walking distance and as we used the site as a stop of point we planned to grab food here. Luckily I realised this prior to arriving and ate on route as there didn't seem to be any where to eat within walking distance. Obviously this has nothing to do with the site it's self which we could not fault.

Great facilities, very clean - child friendly - quiet - lovely walks - dog friendly - close to Ludlow and great for exploring - would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family
