The Pod was very high spec and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the site is very well maintained. We had a lovely take away breakfast from the cafe which they would have been happy to deliver to our pod if we wanted but I decided to collect.

There was definitely an issue with flys during our stay and judging by the presents of a fly swat under the sink I assume that is not unusual. Unfortunately the 'shop' on site (which is a small corner of cafe) did not sell fly spray. The only other issue we had was that we thought we could walk to The Oyster Inn pub which advertises kerb side pick ups (we had our dog with us so needed to eat at the campsite as dogs cannot be left there alone). To walk there required walking on a difficult road which at this time of year was full of tractors and farm vehicles. Also when we rang to order some food they said all they were doing was pizzas and had run out apparently.

Fantastic site sitting quietly in the forest. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed the walks from the site. The showers and toilets were spotless and the utility room was a great addition. Our hosts were visible around the site and very helpful. Bacon and egg roll at the cafe was amazing - thank you

Everyone sooo friendly and helpful which made our stay really enjoyable! Everything we needed was there and really convenient, we couldn't have been happier with it all! By the way we are sisters in our eighties so maybe not so easy to please!!! Thank you for a great holiday reliving our youth!

WiFi at the tent would have been the icing on the cake. Yet (login) free WiFi was provided so just being mega fussy.
Telling anyone else just how good this place is.

Clean and tidy

Far too quiet, not many people spoke to you, never saw any staff. I like a quiet surrounding but thugs one did not have a friendly feel in what so ever!
