Fabric of shower cubicles need attention but clean

Lovely flat ground. Great clean facilities with added bonus of goats and aviary with beautiful birds in site.

There was nothing we didn’t like staff and owners were all amazing, the goats and bird on site is a great touch our 18 month old loved them. Toilets and showers were always spot on and clean. We had a lovely time there will differently remember it for the future

Location as we could walk into the village for dinner and breakfast

Very poorly kept site , no one in the reception just a phone number if you needed it. Toilet clean but shabby,showers awful, not clean and falling apart. Washing up area only had one hot water tap to 4 sinks and bin overflowing

The goats and the environment

The red cords in the disabled toilet/shower had been cut near the ceiling and the assistance button on the wall was too high to reach from the floor. If I was to have fallen whilst in there I would not have been able to get help.

The whole place was really picturesque we loved it! The toilet facilities were the best out of all the campsites i’ve been to over the years, and the showers were so hot and spacious! The fact that we were allowed campfires was super exciting. I could get wifi and 4G literally everywhere. Pitches were very level and the staff were all very kind a helpful. We had a fabulous time in a beautiful place, thanks so much!!!

Loved the animals and birds. Very friendly and great staff. Unfortunately didn't get his name but very interesting and knowledgeable guy talked to us about the birds loved him.
Close to nice walks along canal and river.

Nothing really

The campsite was amazing! We spent little time here unfortunately due to going to Silverstone but what time we did spend was lovely, relaxing, interesting with the animals on site and all round peaceful. It had decent facilities, motion sensor lights at the cleaning stations (good for us as we were getting back late) the best thing was that it was all level ground so it didn't matter which pitch we took. It was also extremely good value for the money.

This was a soft dislike as it didn't really bother us but some would consider it a con but there were train tracks right next to the site and frequent trains that used their horns everytime they passed by.

Campsite was lovely, would definitely go back again, a great little Gem & not to far from home, the birds & goats were great, our grandson loved them, also a brucy bonus was the Lancaster bomber, spitfire & hurrican, amazing..

Really family friendly site busy on a weekend but quieter through the week. Lovely extras the kids particularly enjoyed seeing the goats.
