The park, goats and birds. The falconry was a added bonus too. It’s a great campsite for families. Felt welcomed when we arrived, we will definitely be back.

The food was yummy but the service very unorganised. They had a bit of a problem with their pizza oven which was completely out of their control but then they changed the order to burgers they didn’t know who’s was who’s as there was no system to label them or seperate the orders. They also didn’t demonstrate the best customer service skills as they would leave you standing there without knowing what to do e.g. didn’t have any signs to let you know to place your food order in the shop and I stood there for 10mins before finding that out.
With a bit of simple organisation and clear communication to customers this could be great! The food was yummy once we got it.

Excellent location to go to Oxford, clean toilets, the birds and the playground

The noise : train juste behind our pitch and the other customers arrived on friday evening (even if we received apologies from the campsite manager)

Friendly staff, lovely location - a short walk into the village with a couple of pubs, the canal & a shop.

Showers and toilets were clean and well lit.

Relaxed site with a little park for children to play. A few animals which the children enjoyed visiting. Close walk to a lovely pub. Despite it being a wet weekend the facilities were clean.

A group near us were noisy late into the night, with kids running into the tents and no one from the site there did not appear to be a time when people were expected to keep the noise down.

Beautiful birds, goats, play park, small shop, hot food/ice cream van on the weekends, great location - within walking distance to the village/canal, friendly staff, the ‘bird keepers’/management have plenty of time to talk to you about the birds they keep and kindly allowed our son to hold and stroke the friendly birds. Loved it here that much that we ended up extending our stay.

No one mentioned the trains at the side/end of the field running past tooting their horn every few minuets :o/
The showers where in a right old state! Lino hanging up/off the walls ! ( I see they are trying to make a new shower room, just hope they don't put lino up the walls again, not really waterproof)
There was also an ordinary extension lead coming from some where to the freezer! All open the the elements (floor was went wet all around! AND right Infront of the washing up sink ! (think if I was the local council inspector the could have been trouble! Especially with all the children running around, Prime accident electric shock territory! Did try to find some one to tell/show, but couldn't find any one ;o(

Lovely place to stay with children. Water supply by the pitch thumb up!

Was a lovely clean site the goats were very friendly all children on site loved them the birds were lovely to see and the bird of prey were fascinating to watch pizza Saturday all afternoon and evening and even the ice cream man came in was an enjoyable stay

Stayed in our motorhome with son and daughter in law and grand daughter. A great relaxed site in a pretty village with great pubs and walks along the canal towpath. Lots of space which we prefer over structured set pitches. Good elec hook up and water on the pitch plus good tv signal (it was a bit rainy when we visited). Some goats and colourful birds for children to enjoy. A great new attraction is the introduction of some amazing birds of prey. We didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment but would highly recommend the site.

Train line close by but you quickly tune out the sound of the trains.

Two huge flat peaceful fields, close to major motorways but still quiet. Lovely shower block & toilets. Very reasonable price for non-electric pitch too. Noise from trains is hardly noticeable even though they run adjacent to the field (and I'm fussy about my peace & quiet!)
